I face this two issues:

1- if you open a photo inside google search, you can't change the browser to Desktop mod

2- I was registering on one of the sites and i leave for second on another app... When i return i found that all the data that i enter to register was removed because firefox refreshing the page 🥲

The second issue need to be fix because i use another browsers when i want to register for Governmental things, for example, that require me to enter the passport number, which is in the photo gallery...

There is a lot of data that you entered and then it is deleted in an instant when you move to another application for a few seconds (there must be a strong temporary storage space

I'm facing a problem with the Firefox app in my Android phone. The problem is that the picture-in-picture mode of Firefox is not working anymore since a Firefox update was issued somewhere in April 2023.

I have always actively been using the picture-in-picture mode and I'm wondering why it is not working anymore. I have gone through the settings in my Android phone (apps section) and the Firefox settings thoroughly but I couldn't find any solution.

In my Android phone, the picture-in-picture mode for Firefox is on (meaning effective) but I couldn't find a separate picture-in-picture mode inside the Firefox app settings itself.

Could you please explain why the picture-in-picture mode is not working and is there is a method how to turn it on (effective) in my Android phone? I have Motorola Moto G100 with Android 12 version.

Firefox Browser on Android, 106.1.0.

Datalist options do not show at all.

On Windows, although there is no downward arrow like in other browsers, the options do come up when I click into the input field.

On Android, nothing.

Recently, the banner that usually appears when playing a video with Firefox (such as from youtube.com) has stopped appearing. I also cannot pause or play a video by clicking the controls on my headphones, which used to work. And finally, when playing a video or song from another app (eg. Newpipe), the video on Firefox does not automatically pause, which it used to to. I've tried updating both the app and my version of Android, but neither have helped. I would add images demonstrating what the media banner used to look like, but the "Browse" button simply does not work. Please help

Add the Play background option to videos and audio, pre-installed in settings, as it is in the Brave browser. The current Background Video Playback add-on does not fully play all video and audio background playback features, it does not fully work. Until recently (sorry, I don't know which version I upgraded from), it was possible to let media play the background with Firefox for Android. Media would show up on the lock screen and could be played/paused from there when open in the browser. Now, I have found no way of playing media from Firefox without having the window in focus.

I'm wondering if this was an Android change or a Firefox change that broke Android detecting media playing in Firefox, and whether this is/was intended, a known issue, or a bug?

I'm on Android 13 (Oxygen OS 13 on OnePlus Nord 2T), with Firefox version 112.2.0 (release April 24 on the play store).

I have Firefox as my default browser on iOS. However, tapping “search web” from the context menu that appears when text is selected, opens Safari instead of a new tab in Firefox. The only workaround is to tap “look up” from the context menu and tap “search web” in Siri, breaking up what earlier required a single step into two steps.

I got error message "download failed" when download image from pixiv.net using Firefox 105.1.0 and Firefox Nightly 107.0a1 but I can download from Brave android 105 and Firefox PC and Firefox Developer Edition. I tried change from wifi to cellular, disable extention, clear cookies, change protection from enhance to normal, update my phone os, allow files access but still can't fix the problem. I would appriciate if there's some ways to fix this, please help me.

I cannot upload any file on any website I delete nightly Firefox and download it again Nothing has changed. I give it promise now i try to upload image and the pictures dont upload This problem from last update

I’m unable to add any additional search engines. App crashes every time. I’ve also uninstalled the app and reinstalled to see if that changed anything…. It did not. Any help would be appreciated

Hi i have the video background play fix add on for Firefox but as of the last few days it stops working after a minute or so. I'll play a youtube video and turn off my phone's screen and after a short while it will stop playing, when i switch on the screen and open the app the video will play. This seems to only be with youtube though i tried with a vimeo video and it was fine so i assume this issue is only with youtube on firefox

Version 112.1.0 does not show media control when playing YouTube and stops playing in the background. For example, with DTUBE playback, media control is present and background playback works as before. I activated the "video background playback fix" add-on, but it didn't help. On iOS, the version 112.1.0 has no issue with playing in background. What is the problem with Android?

Hello, for the past month when watching youtube through the firefox app, I am unable to use the media output feature of my phone (galaxy S21 FE) to stop/play videos. So for e.g. I used to be able to minimise the browser and listen to the audio only output. But now the audio stops when I minimise. Other applications are able to trigger the media output so that's not a problem with my phone.

Recently when watching a video, or just viewing a web feed, and turning my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to landscape view, a white screen appears and can not see anything else.

Every time I try to add a search engine (the one I’m trying now is “wiki.pokemoncentral.it”) Firefox on my 6th generation iPad with iPadOS 15.6 (latest version) crashes, and it does that even with my iPhone Xr. I don’t know what to do, I think it’s a bug or something like that. Please Mozilla, if there isn’t any solution I can do, fix it.

The onscreen Keyboard lags on both an iPhone and an iPad. I tried restarting the app and the devices and tried reset the keyboard dictionary. The issue persisted. The Keyboard doesn’t lag anywhere else.

Is this a known issue?
