Several days ago, my comcast email said it couldn't connect, and after trying a couple other things, I removed the account and tried to add it back on. When I try to add it as an IMAP account, it pulls up a window that loads for a minute then says "Unable to connect. An error occurred during a connection to localhost." On the thunderbird window where I entered my password, it says "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username, or password." I logged in on a browser, so I know the username and password are correct. I tried adding it as a POP account, and that worked fine, but I need it as IMAP.

The news reader (powered by Technavia) for the Tucson Daily Star starts OK but continually slows down and eventually Firefox hangs and is non responsive. It happens in different places. The same news reader works OK in Edge or Chrome. Any idea how to trouble shoot this?

I'm trying to use Thunderbird to access my work emails directly. They use Outlook Office 365, which I can use the webmail version of just fine, but a year ago they upgraded to Oauth2 and MFA and for the life of me I cannot get any version of Thunderbord to work with it anymore. I can send an email, but I can access any email on the server. Weirder still is the error console message suggest the program thinks I cancelled my password entry;

Firefox is working in background and draining the battery. That what I see in battery usage information. I have tried to limit and stopped Firefox but it is still on the top of battery usage.

I've made an extention which works fine when I test it using the temp mode on firefox. When I attempt to install from file however I'm told it could not be installed as it appears to be corrupt. Below are the package.json and the manifest.json:

I've been having problems with some websites not displaying content, others displaying error messages. So have been going through the Troubleshooting Mode and diagnostic process.

The cause is the MS CoPilot extension for Firefox.

Useful in other ways as I discovered several other extensions I don't need, hence have remained disabled.

I have not had access to my email since the April 18 Thunderbird update, receiving this error message: "After changing password on an IMAP account, the account could become locked due to too many failed login attempts" How do I fix it? Just switching between inboxes can cause up to a 10 second delay with Thundebird "not responding" with the spinning wheel. It has been like this for the last few laptops I've had and through all the updates and I am getting ready to call it quits. I am using a primary gmail imap account, an office 365 imap account, and another imap account from an ISP.

So I have an Excel workbook in my onedrive from MS, It was working fine on my firefox browser in my Ubuntu OS, last week it started to delete my cell's information whenever I pressed the enter, tab or arrow keys, I contacted the MS support and they get me to opened the same file on a chrome browser and worked fine... I still want to use my firefox browser but this problem is very annoying, please help me sort it out!!!

Using 115.10.1 and POP on Windows 10 Pro (v. 22H2) with just the Windows built-in virus protection enabled (but App or Browser Control is disabled). Platform seems stable, no evidence of nefarious services noted in task manager.

Realized the emails in InBox from a couple of days ago (and going back decades) were blank or had mismatched headers to content. Figured an index problem. Ran the Repair under 'InBox' folder Properties, and only a few of the most recent emails remain - all duplicates of which I had sorted into other folders.

All the other folders are fine - just my InBox got wiped! Looked in the Thunderbird folder under profiles and saw the above captioned with a time-stamp that captures the approximate time this went down - occum's razor. I did not initiate any update to Thunderbird.

Walking on eggshells and very nervous, we're talking thousands of emails, what is the recommended recovery of the InBox (after I attempt to backup what I have left). Thanks!

Running Thunderbird 115.10.1 on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. Mail stopped communicating. Tried using the "Access Account Setup" for existing Email. Put in full name, email address and password and clicked continue to have Thunderbird configure the settings automatically. Did not work with auto settings (POP3). Went back to "Access Account Setup" for Existing Email and instead of clicking continue, I selected "Configure manually". Tried putting in the IMAP protocols and correct port settings, but the "Done" button is grayed out. I am at a loss of what to do to get my email back up and running and at the same time don't want to lose and emails/folders that are currently set up. Any help would be great.

Several instances of this "verification.exe" malware appear on download history when firefox is opened as shown. Remove from history or clear downloads doesn't eliminate them. They reappear whenever firefox is opened.

Suggestions to eliminate this nuisance welcome.

So running thunderbird 115.10.1 (64-bit) and more and more issues:

• the app keeps getting non-responsive for long period of time, to fix this I have to force quit the app.
• at times when composing an email the app freezes where no typing occurs for seconds or typing is very slow or after typing awhile the text suddenly appears.

Seems to be happening more and more trying to figure out how it can return back to it's rockstar state when it was <99 version.

any help would be appreciated.

I noticed that FireFox downloaded a Firefox HTML Document called GnT6qZGD with a size of 0KB, during this time I had tabs open from both https://wago.io/weakauras and https://www.curseforge.com/

Scanned it with Bitdefender and it was clean and when editing in notepad it is empty and a blank page when accidentally opening it.

Then completed a full system scan and it come up as clean.

I have 2 questions,

1st, Is this still a bug in Firefox that appears to have been reported before? 2nd Should I be concerned about it?

I see my original question is now archived at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1380948#question-reply I never closed it because I didn't know if my last process could really fix the issue. It didn't, not always. Over the years, there have been times when the issue would still pop up, but not as often as before (2022 and earlier).

I have a feeling that during an issue, FF is having difficulty setting up shop after starting up. Consequently, it is spending more time before it could become prepared to connect to the Net. I've come up with another "solution," which is deleting (or moving out) xulstore.json in the profile folder after exiting or before starting FF. You can create a batch command or script to execute the process.

So far, FF is connecting immediately after startup.

Today, most of messages have suddenly disappeared from my TB inbox, leaving only the most recent 105 out of approx. 18,000. I have not performed any operations (compacting, archiving...) that could have caused this.

I immediately invoked the 'Repair Folder' command, which did not resolve the problem. Further investigation revealed that the 'Inbox' file ('Profiles' folder) actually contains only 105 messages - seems like the 'Repair Folder' truncated the file!

Fortunately, all the messages are still on the server. My question: Is there a method to 'force' reloading of the missing messages?

I got this error message and don't know what to do with it. All the other subs under gmail (sent, all mail, etc) are fine. No current inbound gmail displays under "inbox," though it does in "all mail." While checking by using gmail app, everything seems fine. How can I reopen or repopulate my inbox? Thanks.

I am unable to get printing to work correctly using Firefox with Epson POS TM-T20 thermal printers we have a work.

We're currently running Firefox on Debian 12. I've tried both the ESR version that comes with the Debian repository and the latest Firefox as a flatpak.

When printing to the receipt printer, the only thing that is printed is the left-hand most part of the logo and a little part of the text and this occurs towards the right-hand side of the paper. I've changing all of the settings, resetting the settings for the print in about:config, but nothing seems to work.

I'd love to get this working so that staff could use Firefox. I'm attaching an image of what the print job looks like and a screenshot of what the print-preview shows.

My name is Grey, and I'm experiencing an issue using Firefox as a browser to open my Outlook mail. For the past three days I have not been able to open any emails as a network error screen appears. Using other devices and other browsers like Edge, the emails open fine, so it is not actually a network issue. This problem only occurs using Firefox, and specifically with Outlook emails. Everything else functions fine and I have not made any changes, besides the regular Firefox update. My computer is also up to date.

What can I do about this issue? I appreciate the advice,
