Thunderbird 15.4.2 was made available today. Since 15.4.1 reintroduced bugs from 15.0 (Hot Mess Edition first push) that had been fixed by 15.3, and I had bugzillad one, I wondered if 15.4.2 had fixed the bug they introduced in 15.4.1. I installed it and clicked on the usual place for release notes, and got an error message -- that page doesn't exist! They always put out release notes when a new version comes out. This time they didn't. Things really seem to be falling apart at MZLA.

And no, they haven't fixed the bug. Mailnews_scroll... in advanced settings still works backwards (set it to false if you want it to work).

While downloading XLS file from some webpage, it is converting as PDF ( File extension is changing from XLS to PDF) , Same is downloading properly in other browsers

I have migrated sackvilleandlane@westnet.com.au from Westnet to The Messaging Company, they tell me it is successful, but I cannot get emails. They now tell me it is my provider. Can you please fix it for me? With thanks Heather

Hi i'm trying to use 1 inbox for multiple emails but inside the inbox i want folders to act as different inboxes (i know it sounds complicated).

for example as i provided in the picture i want to use the inbox named Eurasia as the main inbox and create folders within which i will use them as receivers for the all the other emails (Carlos, Sophia, Sent).

Is this possible and if yes please if you could provide me with a step by step guide.

P.S the emails are POP3 as well as the second screen shot if from MS Outlook and it's the final result of what i want.

My current install of Firefox seems to be corrupted, because every time i try starting firefox, even in safe mode, it says "Could not load XPCOM". So my only option now is to reinstall, but i have some password and my search history and bookmarks and generall data to backup. So my question is how can i do this. Im on a Windows 10 22H2 Machine, and i am a pretty expirienced computer user.

all of the sudden all messages are downloaded and immediately disappear. Also all folders appear empty. I cannot access anything I have saved, neither can I keep received messages in the mailbox.

Hi, I'm having a problem with my email. It comes to me through my website Bradfraser.net, and is hosted by Viux. Apparently Viux went out of business a while ago and didn't tell anyone. My email stopped arriving at bradfraser@bradfraser.net two weeks ago and all attempts to rectify this have been stymied by my not having my dashboard info for the site, and I am unable to get it from Viux. (Which seems to have a bot answering questions.) Is there any way you can help me access this email account and get it running again? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox browser no longer on W7 laptop. Followed instructions-downloaded setup and installer. Neither will do anything - message says no program association to implement thses files. Help!

Hello, I need help. I downloaded and installed Firefox (latest version), the icon appears in the taskbar, but when I click on it, FireFox does not launch and I always get the same error message. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted the PC, but I still have the same problem, even starting from firefox.exe in Windows (C:) >Programs>Mozilla Firefox. Could it be possible that Microsoft is blocking the launch of Mozilla Firefox? Thank you in advance for your help. Attached is a screenshot of the error message. I can't seem to delete an old account on Thunderbird. It says it's a "special account" with no identity associated with it. Can someone help? I tried uninstalling and re-installing Thunderbird and the old account still appears.

I'm trying to set up a new protonmail account, too, and Thunderbird says it doesn't recognize the (correct) password. Is the old account causing the problem?

When I transferred my icloud email account to TB only a few of the 15 folders were transferred. Troubleshooting first with Apple, I was told to delete the account and re-create it. I did but that did not restore to lost folders. How can I get the rest of my folders to transfer?

When moving email servers from Webmail to Zoho, I logged in to all the emails I wanted to backup/copy on my machine and made a copy of the IMAP folder. Fast forward, I want to restore/read from these legacy emails locally on Thunderbird on a different installation, and I'm finding it difficult.

I copied the folders back into the IMAP folder of the new machine but nothing happened.

I would appreciate help with this restoration.

Firefox bookmarks exported from old Windows PC to html file. File transferred to new Windows PC and imported into Firefox. 'Bookmarks Imported Successfully' message seen. However no bookmarks visible in Firefox bookmark menu. Suggestions please?

Why is it that every time Thunderbird updater installs on my laptop, my taskbar link to it becomes unfindable and I have to 1 click on it so that Windows says it can't find it and would you like to remove it so I can then say yes, 2 wait until the taskbar link disappears, 3 go to my desktop icon for Thunderbird and right click to have it pin to the taskbar (AGAIN!) What does updater do to the taskbar pinned icon that it won't work until I remove, replace it, and go back to work??

Updater should NOTHING to do with any of my taskbar icons, let alone the one for Thunderbird. Tell me something I don't know.
