The drag-and-drop from address bar to desktop to create a internet shortcut is disabled. I can use about:config and change browser.launcherProcess.enabled to FALSE to fix it but it does not last long. It will go back to TRUE. Is there a way to set it to FALSE permanently?

There was already such a question, but it is in the archive and the answers previously given to it by technical support are no longer relevant (the browser.proton.enabled parameter no longer exists). How to return separators as lines in favorites? It's terribly annoying when it's just extended spaces. Not everyone has a perfectly developed eye gauge.

Please let me know how I can get my old bookmarks as I do not have any on file in the restore area the only ones I have are five teen year old ones, Can you please help me restore them to the my original ones?

Suddenly my Bookmarks Toolbar vanished from my browser screen. If I click on the Bookmarks Tab I can get the list of the Toolbar as a side bar, but I prefer it to be a horizontal bar always visible. Please tell me how to restore it to its previous state. Thanks!

Today, 6/10/22, I did what we sheep are trained to do, click on the latest update. What happened next is excruciatingly painful: EVERY SINGLE--ALL--FAVORITES AND SAVED PAGES--YEARS, YEARS WORTH OF SAVED PAGES AND FAVORITES, ERASED, GONE, WIPED OUT.

WHAT IS GOING ON? WAS THIS INTENTIONALLY PROGRAMMED? YEARS WORTH OF SAVED PAGES, GONE!!!

So I clicked on an excitingly named "restore" type link. Which resulted in only today's subsequent web activity being included.

I was using Firefox on windows 10 laptop, everything was synced with my account. Now after switching to Ubuntu I can't see my bookmarks, Just an empty toolbar. Now I don't have access to my old laptop, I sold it.

I want to import my bookmarks (.html file), but all of the help I find online references Firefox's "library," and I can't find a library. Info on how to get to the library doesn't match what I see in Firefox.

The bookmarks that are shown on the shortcuts are getting distorted by time. Every 2 months, I have to re-install the browser to have decent bookmark symbols. This issue has been around for atleast a year.

Was still on a old version of Firefox Android 68.11.0 and deleted the data to try and fix something and now I can't login to that version cause it's just a infinite load screen to try to login to it now all my bookmarks are gone even now i synced it before deleting, now it's impossible to update to the new one so my bookmarks can stay on the new version

Firefox claims that bookmarks are saved to a backup profile but there is nothing in the folder.

Hello, I experience a XUL Runner error message after attempting to update Firefox and in following the guidance to rectify the error deleted the Firefox folder including the bookmarks. Is there anyway of recovering the bookmarks (maybe with a third party program) or are they lost forever? Thank you.

In the year 2022, it should NOT be an issue doing something as universally SIMPLE as dragging and dropping bookmarks WITHOUT going thru a lot of NEEDLESS bullshit. Just another example of disconnected incompetent developers with way too much time on their hands. Here's a novel idea; STOP fucking shit up just for the sake of making yourself relevant to your programming overlords!!

When can the feature to move multiple bookmarks at a time to a selected folder (i.e. move or copy & paste) be added into Firefox Mobile?

How ignorant that you can SELECT multiple bookmarks, but then the ONLY available option is to DELETE them, with NO option to move them to an already created folder. I don't WANT to sync because I have separate research topics on my laptop and on my smartphone, and want to KEEP them separate. A smarter option is to offer one repository for "Mobile" Firefox, and one for the Full Desktop Firefox, then allow SELECTED importing between the two. Why are you all handicapping yourselves like this? Each NEW "Mobile" version seems only to TAKE AWAY the most useful features (like printing) of the PREVIOUS version! :( When will it stop?
