Even if "Web site appearance" is set as Light, the following still remain dark:

I recently upgraded from Mojave to Sonoma 14.2, and Firefox 120.0.1.
In Mojave, fn-F12 used to invoke a "Dashboard" with applets like Dictionary and Thesaurus.
With Sonoma, fn-F12 causes the bottom part of Firefox's frontmost window to become a web developer tool, same as ⌥⌘I, instead.
Can I get my Dictionary and Thesaurus back?

Title says it all pretty much. I have text cursor indicator turned completely off on windows, so that's why I'm wondering why Firefox does it when I never enabled something like it. I have the ctrl+pgup and ctrl+pgdown button combos binded to my extra mouse buttons, and I use them very frequently, so this starts to become really annoying really quickly. Especially if I've somehow accidentally 'selected' something on youtube or such, and then it displays a big blue blob out of nowhere. I don't know if this is a purposeful feature or what, but I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me how to disable it, it's extremely irritating.

Some of the text in Thunderbird (and also Firefox) displays as a green and pink/purple colour. Even refreshing doesn't seem to change it back to the black text.
I have also noticed that this is also happening in Firefox when I access the admin part of a WordPress site. I have tested the WordPress site with both Chrome and Edge as well, and it only happens with Firefox.
Is there a way of stopping this from happening?

Updating to version 38.1.0 Start Thunderbird, Starts up OK. Can view messages and write new emails etc OK. If I select "get messages" OR messages are accessed automatically every 5min. then the whole PC crashes. Three finger salute does not bring up task manager. Only way out is to power cycle.

The kind people at Meethook.live suggested using Chrome or Safari, but I don't want to use either of those browsers. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to change any settings to make it work. I wasted about an hour trying to make my bookmarks within a folder I named (let's call it "Foolhardy books and CD's") be transferred to Chrome. Every single OTHER folder and bookmark within NOT called "mobile bookmarks" IS transferring!!! Worst is 1) I didn't start these bookmarks on the computer I'm using...and use 'sync' but no one ever told me that would become a dodo bird distinction when it comes to easy bm transfers. I have tried saving it in JSON or plain text on desk top as new folder and again, it just doesn't like the particular Foolhardy file from any otherwise complete 'add to Chrome from Firefox" etc. There's some dudes on a google search on this with a converter, but it doesn't do a darn thing, and no clear way to contact them "if somethings not working". My concern is if I can't get this bookmark folder to convert out of mobile format, its pretty pathetic, meaning it is trying to make me stay within Firefox/Mozilla format....ugggh!

We work with Thunderbird on local PC's but for roaming support we have the Thunderbird profiles on a network drive. Lately we noticed that on occasion the network drive is slow or disconnects for a second at which point Thunderbird looses it's lock or the connection to the profile. This results in then giving a popup to reenter the credentials for the mailbox. Is there some setting in Thunderbird where we can tell it to try again for a few times before giving the error?
I found the option 'network.protocol-handler.external.disks' but I cannot find any description on what this setting actually does, is this setting relevant to this issue?

Hello. I have been having this problem for a while now. When I enter an address in an existing tab with a :port number at the end of the website address and press the RETURN key the browser does nothing. You can see this issue in the video below. Video will expire on 12th september 2022 https://files.fm/f/xm2mxb829 Only way for me to enter an address with a port is to use an older website link from history or send tab from my desktop through ff sync.
