Ever since about a week ago, my Firefox just started... bugging. Twitch doesn't work, now Netflix doesn't work, basically anything that plays videos (except for YouTube) doesn't seem to be working.

On Twitch, if a person is live and streaming, upon clicking their stream to view it, it's suddenly offline, even if the chat is going and the "this person is live" notification is there. Netflix gives me a f7351 error. Websites with online media (like free movies on putlocker) have multiple streaming services attached and neither of them works.

I've cleared all cookies, cache, data and history.

This is only concerning Firefox, other web browsers work perfectly.

Extensions on my Firefox are as follows: BetterTTV, Dark Mode, DocsAfterDark, Facebook Container, FrankerFaceZ, I don't care about cookies, Instagram Dark Theme, New XKit, TinEye, Tumblr Saviour. No adblocks, no nothing.

My operating system is Windows 10, 64bit, Firefox is updated to 119.0.1.

Any help would be appreciated as this has been the bane of my existence for a while.

An update a month or so back changed the layout and deleted all the contents of my sub-folders. This is a big deal as they contained all the info on my clients. Also, if I move an e-mail into a sub-folder, afer a week or two they just disappear. Finally, the feature that shows the thread of a message cannot be switched off. This just increases my click load!

There is no longer a mail toolbar and it doesn't show up in the toolbar menu. I am not very tech savvy so don't understand what a unified toolbar is. Anyway, I wanted to tag a message and can't find a way to do it. Thanks for any suggestions.

Thunderbird updated today, 11-16-23, at 12-58-43 PM, in my main PC (Dell3080) quit working after the update. Now I can’t send messages and I received the last message this morning at 5:49 AM.

Thunderbird last updated 6-7-23 in my back-up PC (Dell3070) works fine. Its Thunderbird has received the 6-16-23, 5:49 AM message mentioned above, plus four more, the last one at 7:30 PM.

Both Thunderbird programs use the identical “Outgoing Server” settings.

When writing an email if I use the 'Insert>image' menu route the whole thunderbird app freezes (using win10, fully updated). However, if I manually copy and paste to insert an image via the clipboard, it seems to take OK. So have a workaround now, but worry the program route is failing. Am I missing a setting somewhere (I must say I have experienced glitches* since updating to the newest supernova version - 115 - and wishing I'd just stayed with the older previous version a while longer.

• Other glitch is the system is endlessly demanding passwords for my hotmail accounts when checking email (not so for the yahoo or gmail accounts). Very frustrating and time consuming.

-Every time I start Thunderbird, I see my emails from 2009 at the top instead of auto-scrolling down to the newest. -When opening a MAPI email with a recipient email, the last letter of the email address is cut off in its fancy drawn box. -The form displaying conversations should automatically expand the tree, or at least have an option for that, and auto-expand the tree on a single result. Also, the ">" sign is not prominent enough to indicate that there are more emails in the result resulting the most confusions on workplaces. It's just simply a bad design.

The box in Settings > General > Startup > Open previous windows and tabs is still unticked.

Does anyone know what could be causing it and how to fix it?

YouTube won't start playing in Firefox. No add-ons enabled. The page is fully loaded, but clicking on Play makes nothing.

The fix is to disable "User recommended performance settings" and then disable "User hardware acceleration when available".

The problem is that hardware acceleration is enabled by default. In Edge or Chrome hardware acceleration is also enabled but it won't break YouTube.

The new update is a disaster and almost unusable. The biggest problem I have with it is that the Message pane is now reduced to a size that is uncomfortably small. This could be ameliorated if the Message List pane could be shortened, as in previous versions. The current pane cannot be reduced to less than 8 messages in the list, previous versions allowed for far fewer.

Yes, there are several options available to change the layout, but they all have even greater issues.

PLEASE CHANGE THE MESSAGE LIST PANE FORMAT SO THAT IT CAN BE REDUCED TO DISPLAY A SMALLER NUMBER THAN 8 MESSAGES!!!

I have tried multiple suggestions from the help site. Still cannot get Thunderbird to accept settings -

Can anyone tell me how to blacklist incoming emails from selected addresses?

I can get T-bird to send unwanted emails to the "Junk" folder, but there are some that I would prefer not to even show up on my end, but rather delete them before they even get here (Facebook being the prime offender - hundreds of people I have never even heard of sending baby photos, etc.).

I contacted my ISP and was told that I needed to do this from the T-bird end. I cannot find anything in the Support section that addresses this problem. Thank you, Wolfgang

In the past when I reinstalled Windows and then Firefox, I would sign into my account and all my bookmarks/addons etc. would automatically get reinstalled. Today I had to reinstall Windows and when I logged into my firefox account, nothing happened. Does Mozilla no longer keep these settings for us? I don't have any other devices to sync off of and never have, so where did all those settings come from when I did previous reinstalls?

I want for my email to come in according to who it is from and the FROM option seems to be grayed out and not accessible to me. How do I change/access this option? Please advise. Thank you.

I made a mistake and installed Firefox in the wrong location. I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall where I wanted the software to be.

The installer now tells me that I had Firefox before and will only reinstall it in the previous directory. No other option is offered.

I am LONG used to being deprived of user choice by the likes of Microsoft or Apple, but Mozilla SHOULD KNOW BETTER.

My husband has Thunderbird for his emails. I am trying to set up Thunderbird for my emails. I am not able to get past the point where you must select IMAP or POP3. System seems stuck on "checking password". I've had Microsoft outlook for a long time. I want to set up Thunderbird. We have a home based business. I need my email system up and running. everytime you update firefox, i loose my personal toolbar that took me a long time to set up. how do i get it back without all the work? also, what happened to the printer icon in the main toolbar?

My iMac is OSX. I use Firefox browser most of the time. I had used Safari years ago. Chrome had rarely been used. Firefox problems recently began. Please help.
