I installed a Mozilla/FF GMail Notifier App. I tho't that I removed it as I no longer needed it. It still Notifies me; annoying. But it's not in my Extension List to Remove again if need be??? How can a hidden/invisible App be still operating, that is supposed to be Removed?

Since Mozilla/FF has no option to Delete a Question, I found the answer to the above posted. MY error: It was a Google Linked App, not the one I Removed which did indeed become Removed. Sigh!

Since the last update 155.01 I can't use Firefox as it freezes and hangs after 3 - 10 seconds. On Windows 10 , 64 bit. There seems a bug with the last update for Windows 10 users

Not sure the crash report is related to the issue.

The same issue happens to all of my 3 Windows 10 PCs since the update from today.

I have uninstalled Firefox and downloaded again, but same issue happens again.

I cleared the cache also but to no avail

How can I use Firefox again?

Hi! I reached out on Friday and was sent a code that expired in 5 minutes, missed the deadline and had to leave the library. I updated Firefox to 155 and can't find my bookmarks. Also found that a Microsoft update included Goggle Chrome that I uninstalled. Please advise on getting my bookmarks back thank you. I only have 30 minutes left on line. Thank you for all the work you volunteers are doing, greatly appreciated! Mark

Since Aug. 20 I have been having trouble sending and receiving msgs. (on two email addresses) at Thunderbird when it interfaces with Charter Spectrum. Have sent many msgs. to Thunderbird here and also in close contact with Spectrum. Will this be fixed? thank you.

Reinstall of Thunderbird after a few years easy with all my old (sub) folders captured from service provider. However, neither delete folder (via any option) nor create folder is acted upon. Also ignored is attempt to rename a folder. Inbox contains over 23 000 messages but none after 5 December 2025. Deleting hundreds permanently on provider has no effect on Thunderbird. Some folders are empty but but are labelled as containing hundreds of messages.

Trying to send a message results in error, 'Could not detect login form.' But I am logged in.

Any pointers to unclogging system gratefully received. Chris Oldman

It used to be than when I received a T-Bird message with a PDF attachment, I could click on the attached filename and it would open with the application I had specified in Settings (Acrobat Pro). Now I click on it and nothing happens. This is very annoying because I work a lot with emailed PDF attachements. I've tried re-setting Acrobat as the default in Settings, but that brings no joy.

Hi. i have an IMAP account. I like to have my inbox in threaded view, so i know if i replied to my customers and to easily view the order of the emails. This causes a problem because i also like to have every sent email in the "SENT" folder, which made me use the Copy Sent to Current PWE, and it works like i want now.

But something happened after i have been using this extension (even though it happened only once): the same person answered to a chain of emails, which was already organized has thread, the sendedr is the same and the subject is exaclty the same, but the email was placed on my INBOX but OUTSIDE the thread.

Why did this happened and how can i force that message inside the thread again?

Hi a few days ago I updated my firefox version 155.0 well I had 3 open tabs going back to and forth to different sites. when the update firefox popped up, I mistakenly hit update & a notice said firefox is attempting to save these sites, I closed the notice then shut down my laptop,

I never take a update with any thin running. when I turned on the w-10 lap top seem to take awhile to load, so I let it load, and then I shut it down completely. I went to task manager and my read write on my c: drive was running at 100% for about 15-20 minutes. I went to firefox settings and re-set "cache at startup"

This seemed to help some, but still not sure if it is locked in a loop, looking for those those saved files.

I am 80 now and not a pc savvy as I was. not sure what the normal time the c drive for read write should stay at 100% after starting my laptop, I know there is indexing going on, but I thought it would be done by now. after. Thank You Gary Kouri

Trouble connecting to my email provider Time Warner Corporation to send emails using my wifi. They claim I have to be connected to Spectrum to send them using my WIFI and they are not in Massachusetts where I am now for the summer. I get the following message when I try to send one using my wifi:

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: p-impout004.msg.pkvw.co.charter.net cmsmtp 73.238.167.193 blocked. Please see https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/understanding-email-error-codes for more information. AUP#Out-1130.

I keep getting a message that says the login at imap.mail.att.net fails. So I re-enter my password, and it still doesn't work. The outgoing works fine. My server is Yahoo/AT&T.

I've recently started having an issue where emails sent from my email account are being delivered, but some of them are ending up in the recipient's spam folder.

I'm using Thunderbird and the account itself appears to be working normally. I can send and receive messages without seeing any obvious errors.

I've already checked the SMTP settings, but I'm wondering if this could be related to my domain's email authentication rather than Thunderbird itself.

What should I check for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and is there a good way to determine whether the problem is with Thunderbird, the mail server, or the domain's email configuration?
