How to turn off the notification asking if I want to open a video on the YouTube app? It's especially annoying because when you switch from already opened tabs with videos already being played to another tab and then go back, you have to restart the browser for the notification to appear again allowing me to watch the video again otherwise it's a black screen of constant loading!!

Two days ago, I made my first post to these forums. Now I'm being spammed with "Congrats on your first forum reply!" emails from this website. I am getting a new one every hour and a half or so. There is no obvious thing to do in the email to stop this. How do I stop support.mozilla.org from spamming me?

Firefox for Mac, stop Apple's 2fa from popping up repeatedly in useless locations

[I am not sure this question is for Settings. None of the categories offered really seemed to fit this issue very well. Suggestions for re-posting are welcome.] On Firefox for Mac, Apple now has a pop up bubble to display the requested six digit 2FA number, first in the upper right corner, then, annoyingly, repeating often in multiple additional useless places on the screen, whether or not the code has already been used. The Apple community says there is no way to block this misbehavior through Apple, except disabling all 2FA, which is a bad idea. Is it possible to block the multiple appearances of 2fa code advisory bubble all over the place through Firefox controls? This problem reportedly does not appear on the native Mac Safari, nor reportedly on Chrome. I got to admit, I don't sign into Firefox, and not being forced to do so is a Firefox attraction for me. ]

Just today, when I copy a link I recieve a notification from Firefox telling me it's been copied to my clipboard. Unfortunately, I have had such a notification from my phone's OS that this is redundant and annoying. It also lingers longer than the original notification. How do I turn Firefox's notification off? Better yet, where do I submit a bug report?

In settings there exists the option

"Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up"

I have specifically chosen to disable this option; there's nothing wrong my hand.

I am perfectly capable of moving my mouse pointer to the Firefox icon and clicking it when I need to; and running on a decent spec machine with a late spec NVMe drive, the startup is near instantaneous.

I don't need or want additional Windows boot clutter.

Nevertheless Firefox periodically nags to enable this useless setting option like I maybe don't know it exists. How do I stop that ?

Whilst it's not every time I start it, I recently reinstalled Windows 11 barely a month ago. I've already been asked 3 times.

On modern systems running on high spec storage devices this seems like such a pointless option, but to even repeatedly try to push people to use it when they don't want to seems somewhat disingenuous.

Given Ramageddon where people are having to build systems with lesser amounts of RAM it seems even more unlikely that people are going to want bulky applications that they may not immediately need to be auto-loaded every time they boot their PC, before they will be able to use their pc for whatever they switched it on to do.

Is there option to disable these "helpful" suggestions ? Thanks!  :)

For the past few weeks, my Firefox app for android has been asking me to rate it in the app store everytime I open it. I've already rated and reviewed it in 2022, so there's nothing more for me to do. I tried editing my previous review to see if that would help but it hasn't. At first, regardless of which option I hit (whether I'm having a good or bad experience), it did nothing and just let me continue using the app. Recently, it's been bringing me to the app store everytime regardless of with option I hit, which is getting a bit frustrating. Is there anything I can do to get it to stop prompting me to rate it?

See here.

This appears on almost every opening of the app. Clicking on "It's great!" asks me to leave a review on Play Store. Clicking on "I'm having issues" asks me to leave feedback at Mozilla Support forums. I don't want to do either, I just want the popup to go away and never return. I keep seeing it even after having already clicked both buttons several times.

I'm on the latest version (145.0.2).

Is there a way to shorten the toast message for closing a tab? I believe it's longer than 5 seconds (I slow counted to 7), which seems excessive.

My (personal, sure) reason for asking is that my RSS reader's "next" button is immediately beneath the toast, so if I've opened and closed an article I have to wait 5 seconds to get to the next.

My manual workaround has been to just leave tabs open and close them en masse, but that's a bit risky, given other tabs I'd like to keep open.

The message in referencing is at the bottom of the screenshot I've attached.

It would be ideal if I could turn them off entirely: I know that I closed a tab, after all?

Thanks at least for listening!

I receive emails from "TenTabs from Firefox". When i click on the unsubscribe button in the email, i get directed to the following page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/newsletter/existing/ When i enter my email and click "Send me a link", i get a new email in my inbox with the subject "Your email preference center link", and a button in the email that says "Email preference center". When i click on the link, it takes me to a page saying "Manage your Email Preferences". I didnt find Ten Tabs to unsubscribe. Even i umsubscribed from the 4 options available on the site but i still recieve emails every couple of days.

I want to easily unsubscribe from TenTabs. I did some research and i think it is related to Pocket.
