I just installed the Android mobile version of Thunderbird. I was wondering if it supports any form/method of SPAM filtering? If so, how do I access/use it?

I use Zen Browser, and since updating my MacBook to the latest OS, Seqouia, my Zen Browser iCloud Passwords extension doesn't work. I'm prompted to update my MacOS to Sonoma or newer, which I've, of course, done. I'm wondering if there is a workaround or if this is simply a bug that needs fixing.

Since the big wipe, I have lost all my identities, including my main. I had been using a second identity as my main for years. I can no longer open T-Bird because it tries to connect to the old wiped account. I want to start a new account, but do not have access anymore. I cannot receive an E-mail response to this question because my account has been closed, so do not know how to communicate with you.

Hello. I have windows 11 64 bit and thunderbird on my computer. For the last month I have not been able to send pictures pasted in emails. If I attach pictures it works fine. I have tried reinstalling Thunderbird, running the troubleshooter and searching everywhere on google but I can't find anyone with the same error. Do you have any tips on anything? I exported my profile to an external drive, then reset my Windows 11 PC. The resulting file is a zip file. When I import, the import starts, then stalls and gives an error. The error log is incomprehensible to me. How can I not lose my local folders and messages? I tried unzipping and importing that folder, but another error. I need help! Ideas? Thanks.

I have two issues the first is a donation I tried to place on your website and am having trouble. The second issue is I had Best Buy remove malware from my laptop after they loaded everything back now I cannot get my outbound smtp server send email, it asks me for my password which it never did before and when I enter it, it says the Send mail failed and renter the PW and it still rejects it, My IMAP settings is mail.twc.com port 993 Security SSL My smtp server for Spectrum is mail.twc.com port 587 Security SSL How do I find the settings on your Thunderbird client to check the settings and password. All incoming mail is okay

I'd been trying to download 2 large files from Icann and kept getting premature completion with Firefox. It would be showing ##MB of 356MB downloaded for a few seconds and then out of the blues it just says completed. As you can see in the shared video, I've tried this several times.

I thought that maybe one of the Firefox addons was causing the issue so I tried Troubleshoot Mode but that resulted in the same behavior.

I then went into Firefox Profile Manager and created a new profile. But that too had the same behavior - 🤔!

So I then tried Chromium. It completed the download successfully and the file passed gunzip test.

So, why is Firefox, even with a new profile, failing to complete a download?

I was literally overjoyed when I discovered the use desktop view as default setting under the site permissions settings in 133.0 when I installed it on my Android phone (not tablet). I enabled it, and it worked exactly as expected—fantastic!

Unfortunately, the next day it was gone again, and the browser's behavior is as if I never enabled this setting. Please, where did it go, and how do I get it back? Failing that, is there a configuration variable that can be set manually to achieve the same behavior?

My access to my E-mail provider (Sask Tel) is not reliable. Two times I can't get it. The next time (later in the day) and the next day I can't access anything. What's going on. I can get into my E-mail account at Sask Tel okay but Thunderbird won't make the connection to Sask Tel? /cac

I've finished setting up the S/MIME encryption in Thunderbird, and imported all the certificates needed. When people with the certificates emailed me, I could receive and read all the emails. However, when I replied to the same people, I got the error message saying 'End-to-end encryption requires resolving cerficiate issues'. My colleagues imported the same certificates without any issues. Do you have any suggestions for me to solve the issue? Thank you very much!

Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.aol.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again. I have tried over and over and get this same message.

I have emails that are 15 years old. They are taking a ton of space on my computer.

I want to instead only keep 3yr emails. I changed the sync settings to that but it won't remove old emails that were already downloaded.

How do I do this - have it remove the old emails from my computer but keep them on gmail?

When I select a folder with the columns and column widths set the way I want, then do "Apply current view to > Folder and its children > Local > Local" Thunderbird applies the view to some, but not all, folders. Even if I target a problem folder and explicitly attempt to apply the desired current view to it, it doesn't work. If I create a new blank folder as a sub-folder of a folder that *does* accept current views, I can't apply the current view to the sub-folder. It retains what appears to be a default view.

I can't see any difference between folders that accept "current view" and those that do not. Any suggestions? Or is there a way to set the default view (i.e., columns and column widths, not just sort order) for new folders?
