When i updated Firefox just now it offered several recommended security add-ons. I added a few of them. But now I can't access Facebook. I disabled them one at a time and still cannot get in. What do I do now?

I am having trouble sending tabs from my phone to my PC. My device is connected to my computer, and I can send tabs from my PC to my phone successfully, but not the other way around. I have no idea what could even be the issue, and I have only seen people asking about sending tabs from PC to Mobile, not the other way around. Is there something I am missing? None of the Firefox troubleshoot pages have helped.

When I open Firefox on my new computer all the bookmarks are showing at the top. I only want my default bookmark toolbar to show. The only solution I could find was to drag it into the toolbar area.

Firefox only shows a black box when i try to run an embedded video. It works fine on other browsers, specifically Microsoft Edge. I ran it in troubleshooting mode which fixed the problem temporarily but reoccurs when computer is off and then turned on.

When I try to log into chase.com, I'm told my (FireFox) browser is out of date, but I am running the latest version. What can I do?

Hi, I am trying to save my most important Bookmarks as Shortcuts in Firefox Homepage, but Firefox is not showing the icons of the shortcuts, instead it is showing as Letters of the site. Please refer the image that I have attached. Incase if the image in the attachment fails, use this link Do note that the icons in bookmarks bar are showing fine, but the problem is only in Homepage shortcuts. On Firefox for Windows (on Windows 11 release 99.0.1), the first setting in Settings is "Open previous windows and tabs". This is incorrect. It doesn't do this. When checked, upon startup, it will restore one window, its tabs, & maybe its sessions (?), and it will send all the other Windows & their tabs to the bit bucket.

Users: KNOW & HEED this warning! Team: Please take what you've already done for that window and merely do it also for the rest of them? In the mean time, please change the wording to something like "Open one of the windows and its tabs". Ideally, identify which window has been chosen for this.

I want to be able to preview pdfs in firefox in a new tab without first downloading the file like it used to. But this version (99) of firefox won't allow me to do that. I tried selecting the "action" for pdfs in the applications section of settings to "open in firefox". What it does is preview the pdfs without downloading indeed but it previews it in the SAME tab which makes browsing more difficult. If I select "always ask", and then select "open with firefox" in the dialogue box, it opens the pdf to a new tab alright but it downloads the file FIRST. Is there a way around this please?

Look I have memory issues I already have to change my password & now I just got a recovery key as long as my arm. Do you people think any of us have such important stuff on our home, student computers we need the tools of a CFO or CEO of a major corp. REALLY I think it is time we realize 2/3 of the tools on a computer be it windows or moz:lla are superfluous. To make me have to remember that many numbers is torture or try to remember where I put the print out is mean. Is cruel and why? So our egos can feel filled with smoke? Anything more than 5 fonts is a waste. How much time do you think gets wasted while people "play" or fart around with all the empty tools on computers? The world wide web is a huge wall surrounding all the companies that take our money. You built it for them Then showed consumers shinny new toy we waste our money our time our lives and we will never be able to get into the wall you built to get back money we spent or time we wasted. A 15 number key, you think someone wants the answers to my midterm? If they need it Let them have it. You technological people, who build this trap, who blow smoke up where it tickles, should be ashamed.

Hi, I've been a Firefox user for many years and don't have the slidest idea of what password I used to setup the account. I read in the Firefox documentation that I could loose all my information if I change my email but that's exactly what I need to do. I currently use gmail and have switched to Outlook. Two questions, how do I change to Outlook without loosing bookmarks, etc. and can I import my gmail accounts into Outlook. Thank you in advance. PS, I created a Recovery Key

For the past several months, I've had increasingly worse graphical errors on Google Drive. At first it was only in a few documents, and now it's in every single document. These errors only occur on Firefox, no other browser. Text that I type is constantly blurry, oddly-sized, or oddly-spaced, with some letters touching while others have large gaps between them. I've also had some other small issues, like the document thinking that I'm two people and asking me if I want to see "the changes made my collaborators" when I'm the one currently typing (the documents aren't shared with anyone else, and there are never any changes beyond the ones I make), or showing my cursor highlighted with my name as if I were someone else watching myself type. It's made it more difficult for me to focus on work and I don't know what to do about it.

I've tried the following methods (most of them multiple times over the past months) to solve it, none of which worked: - Running the windows in safe mode - Uninstalling all add-ons and themes, clearing cookies and cache, and then restarting my computer - Uninstalling Firefox entirely, restarting my computer, then reinstalling it - Refreshing Firefox - Looking through pages like Firefox Task Manager and such (although the information there didn't really mean much to me, nothing looked out of the ordinary)

Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do about this? I was ignoring it for a while since it's still legible, but it's become really annoying, especially when it makes some words hard to read. I've always used Firefox browser instead of Microsoft Edge, and I would like to continue using Firefox. However, it will not run in its current form under Windows 11. Does Mozilla plan to keep it compatible with Windows? I would like to keep using Firefox.

I don't need any images, you know the problems ... Freezes, no internet access.
