Since the update a few days ago, Firefox is crashing and some sites such as Trust Pilot, do not work at all on Firefox. I know it is Firefox because it works fine with Chrome. Even Google Search does not work right.

What is the problem?

Hi, I use Cambridgeone.org materials to teach English online. Never had a problem. Taught last Thursday using Firefox 110.0.1 and digital texbook on Cambridgeone website.

Installed update to Firebox 111.0.1 the next morning. Now the full teacher's toolbar on the textbook doesn't load. (see image) It does on my desktop app (see image).

What can I do? Have cleared all caches, run disk cleanup, even disabled Privacy Badger without effect.

I am currently running the latest version of Firefox Version 111.0 (64 bit) on an Intel Mac OS machine. Firefox updated automatically per usual but now I am no longer able to drag from my toolbar downloads dropdown to either my desktop or any folder on my Mac. I used to be able to do this and it was apart of my daily workflow. So frustrating that something so small would be removed. I can only drag from my downloads to a new Firefox tab ONLY if hold down option but that is the only place I can drag and drop. Any solution? Please help.

For some sites, it gives correct english password. But for a personal site, my password is shown as encrypted, which i have not encrypted. The password is shown, but i could not understand why it shows as encrypted with alpha numerical numbers. how do i turn that to english and keep this as a password. I have never supplied encrypted characters. please give me solution . Does the firefox auto encrypt why it is not user friendly then

Tell me where are my bookmarks and how to get them back. The directions listed are not working. The problem started with horrendous slowness, which I tried to address with Troubleshooter. And then layout changed, bookmarks disappeared and on-line fixes are not working. Getting my bookmarks back is rather freaking important. Any productive solutions?

We have an intranet site that works fine in Chrome and Edge, but does not load at all in Firefox. In Firefox, an authentication dialog appears, but after entering correct credentials, it just re-shows the same authentication dialog after a few seconds. This repeats indefinitely. There is no useful info (and pretty much no info of any kind) in the dev tools. I have tried Firefox in safe mode, with no changes to the behavior.

What steps can I try to debug this problem?

Hello, There is a problem in actual Firefox update with scolling by mousewheele, scolling don't fuction!! It's getting on my nerve and take time to move crolling with curser!! Please fix this problem immediately bevor I switch to other browsesr!!! Thanks

On some sites Firefox will not play the embedded videos. For example embedded screencast recordings like those used by employee time management platforms eg time doctor. Not sure of the format maybe webm

I often look up links/webpages on my phone and then transfer them to Firefox to view later. In the past, when I opened a link in firefox, then dragged the link to a specific folder on the Bookmarks toolbar, it would display the header of the link as the "name" of it. Now, when I transfer a link to a folder on the Bookmarks toolbar, it always sets the URL of the link as the "name" of the bookmark. How do I make it so that when I drag a link to the bookmarks toolbar it saves with the header rather than the URL.

If this helps, I'm using MacOS most of the time.

I've attached an image of what it's like now. The header names are before, the urls are after.

i tried changing any and all settings, clearing cache, using troubleshooting mode etc to no avail.

i use fedora 38 beta (it was also a problem on 37 stable) with ffmpeg installed.

i use biwarden, sponsorblock, ublock origin, stylus, google container, youtube shorts block and some custom css.

i am running a system with an i3 10105f, an rx 6600 and 16gb of ram.

firefox is installed with the version off of the firefox website.

reinstalling it worked briefly, but it broke again after a little bit of time.

Hello, today I wanted to replace the "about:newtab" background with a picture.

I've already tried a lot like creating an extension, and adding the chrome folder with "userChrome.css" or "userContent.css" but I haven't had any luck whatsoever.

Could you help me in any way?

My preferred way would be through an extension to share it with my friends.

How can I fix or delete this erroneous post or may it be edited?

I can create a help page if it means anything to replace this technically and procedurally incorrect and misleading post. I saw it right away but for a newbie to firefox it could send them away screaming in frustration. A help webpage to address this question would be helpful and I can create one if needed. Or did I miss it?

Prior to recent updates, Firefox tabs that were opened from a link on a webpage would always open right next to the current tab. Which was fine and wonderful. Sadly, following recent version updates new tabs opened from links now tend to 'wonder' off to the far end of whatever other links may have also been opened previously from that site. The problem with this new behaviour is that such tabs quickly become lost amongst the various branches of the tree as other links are opened in 'child' tabs of links that have gone before. In short, this new behaviour results in a complete confusing mess, especially as the newly opened tabs may end up so far off to the right that it's difficult to find the way back to the page they were opened from! Please could you at least provide an option so the user can set new links to open right next to the current tab, as they used to do, rather than some no doubt logical but nonetheless baffling and impractical location some 6, 21 or even more tabs away from the current tab. I'm no longer able to share multiple documents through Dotloop. For years if you click mutliple files a new button pops up that says share and allows you to send all that has been checked, as of today I can say that no longer happens. I tried in Edge and it still works fine. See attached images, one from Firefox the other Edge

I have made a feedback few times for this forum here, to have a Stay Signed In option.

Every so many minutes, I get to be signed out, most probably, as a security measure. This then requires me to log in each time, which is not all too bad, but still a bit annoying.

A "Stay Logged In" or "Keep Me Logged In" option is a normal thing on nigh all sites, it would be lovely to have it here as well?

Thoughts?

on my account page under security - password lists an 18 character password. my password was actually only 8 characters, so i changed it and is now 9 characters but the only password listed is still the 18 character.
