Hello, I am trying to migrate from my Zoho mail server to Thunderbird, but for the last few days, Thunderbird does complete fetching the remaining emails from the Zoho Server - or so it seems. As you can see in the pictures attached, in the morning I clicked on "Get Messages" and I could confirm that Mozilla connected to the server and started fetching emails (there were more than 3000 emails pending), but after a few hours, I am back to the same amount of emails as when I started in the morning. You can see from the pictures that the inbox has 60,031 or 60,046 (i don´t know which one is correct). However, the most recent email being displayed is dated 03/06/2024 (which is wrong) and then there is a blank between emails from Jauary 11th to May 15th. Could also it be that Thurderbird´s time stamp is wrong? Why can´t I see any of the emails I received today, for example? Any help would be greately appreciated. Thank you. So, I installed a new hard drive about a week ago and while re-installing things I also re-installed the Firefox Browser 64- bit. Strangely, it seems like the files did not install itself in the right areas or the files installed did not install themself in the right or normal places. It does work, but for some reason I don't see it's program files? Is this normal or something that happens?

Anyways, I've backed-up my bookmarks, and I am going to uninstall it, re-boot, and re-install it and see what happens I guess. Or should I uninstall Firefox and its Profile Folders also, etc, and than re-install it?

Why don’t you guys grow up and just charge money for the application like every other successful app? Stop begging for contributions and just charge a fee for the app. I think you’ll find you’ll do quite well and you’ll stop nagging the rest of us who are paying. You all are stuck in this FOSS ideology. It doesn’t exist, Yes, there have been quite a few “Free“ applications developed, but they were funded by someone donating. Usually some liberal cause. Just charge for the app and move on. You will find that you will have a steady stream of income and you’ll be able to develop it more consistently. You might be able to innovate. Who knows, you might even be able to develop a UI that doesn’t look like it was designed in 1995

I have a business email account, its desk space was about to be full

I deleted the account from the c-panel and re construct it again with the same settings.

I discovered that I can`t no longer see the old inbox and sent files, they became empty.

I use Thunderbird to read the email

Is there any way to get the old profile so that i can get the old inbox and sent items

I deleted Firefox to re-install it after playing with profiles and that not working how I wanted it to (yet). I uninstalled the app from the applications and the library on my Mac and reinstalled Firefox. Now when I open Firefox it says that it's up and running but no windows actually open up for me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it again and it still won't open windows. I have to force quit Firefox as nothing shows up in my top tool bar to even show Firefox as open.

How can I get Firefox to actually install and be functioning on my computer again?

Running (as of an hour ago) macOS 14.5 (was using previous up to date OS when I installed Firefox again.

TIA , Time to Migrate TB Portable to new computer : I was advised that all need to do is Copy this Folder C:\ThunderbirdPortable to new computer . But that doesn't bring over all my email accounts . Pls , what else do I need to do ? Thanks...

I have Firefox 126.0.1 installed yet get a notification daily asking me to install the latest update When I down load the "latest update" I get Firefox 126.0.1 ! How can I stop this annoyance? Thank you John

Hi all. I had a hard drive failure and managed to mostly clone the old drive to a shiny new one. There were errors logged during the clone and TB appears to be a victim of those errors.

Win 11 x64.

When I launch TB I get the icon on the taskbar but no main screen. If I hover over the icon I see a small box with the TB logo top left where you’d expect it, and Home next to it. Clicking it has no effect. TB appears to be functioning because new emails are being filtered according to the Rules, as witnessed on my phone.

I tried reinstalling 115.11.1 with no change. So obviously somethings fubar with my profile. What is the best way to proceed? Obviously I’d like to avoid having to set up all my email accounts plus the associated rules etc if it’s possible. I use IMAP if it’s relevant.

My emails do not download into my email "in" box as they used to do. I get the following message when I try to log into my emails.

Hi, I have been using thunderbird with two accounts. One day one account decided that won't get new messages, so I deleted that account, tried to add it again and it is showing me mistake: Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password. I am 100% sure, that all the credentials are correct. Could you please try to help me?

Recently Firefox always has the error "failed to check for update". I have tried restarting my pc and running as admin. I am on windows 10.

I have been able to manually install the latest version by installing it over the top of my current install, how can I fix the error to be sure that my browser will auto update?

I did lost all history data after a previous update, my user got corrupted data and somehow I did manage to import the info into Edge browser. To my surprise after I reinstalled a clean Firefox, it only imported back 3 months of browsing history. Topically, average user keep a computer 3-4 years.. I don't know from where developers came with the idea of limiting to such a shot interval. I have thousands of browsing history links from more that 10 years kept and I need them all.

Tried to increase the number from about:config, but there is an option only for Chrome which I never used and always hate :)

I did installed Chrome to convince myself about it's ingenuity, even if it was not necessary. It does have import option only from Microsoft Explorer, no Edge.

If there is a solution for importing a longer period and high number of entries, please share it.

I'm not an IT expert, but I can manage consoles if there is an even deeper option to modify config files.

i SET UP THUNDERBIRD ON MY NEW COMPUTER, SUCCESSFULLY, BUT THREE DAYS AGO MY WEB HOST/SERVERS UPGRADED THEIR SYSTEM. i SPENT THREE DAYS SORTING OUT NEW SETTINGS. CONFIGURATIONS, PASSWORDS, ETC, TO GET IT ALL WORKING, IT WAS DIFFICUL BUT IT NOW WORKS. HOWEVER, I HAVE MANY FOLDERS OF MAIL ,AND MAIL NOT IN FOLDERS, IN THEUNDERBIRD ON AN OLDER COMPUTER. i WANT TO IMPORT THOSE FOLDERS OF MAIL, AND ADD THEM TO MY NEW COMPUTER THUNDERBIRD INBOX SET UP, BUT I DO NOT WANT TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AGAIN!" THAT COULD BE A DISASTER. I JUST WANT THE MAIL AND THE FOLDERS. ALL THE VIDEOS i SEE ARE TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AS WELL. Hello, I have problem with firefox. When I try download from facebook page files .docx, .xlsx (Microsoft Office) Firefox automatically download it as PDF and file is broken. I don't know how to repair this. Please help, it is very frustrating.

I have added my gmail account to TB and it downloads all the folders and emails correctly, but as soon as I try to move an email with an attachment from a local folder to a folder on the gmail acount I get "Connection to server imap.gmail.com timed out" errors.

i need some help with my firefox browser. all of a sudden my firefox browser wont download any files from anywhere but if i try to use the save image as on an image firefox would download them. weirdest thing is other browsers are fine when downloading files.

Prior to update 125.0.1 corporate intranet users could download PDF files from our Line of Business applications / Webpages. Today after the latest update the PDF files download but are corrupted. The site was added to the trusted webpage without improvement.
