I believe there has been some changes in Android 4.4 that makes Flash not work. Some libraries it needs were removed. Also Adobe has not supported Android with Flash for a good while now since Flash 11.1 and Android 4.0.
Thanks, James. So will it be resolved or is there nothing ff can do about it?
Sorry to say I've had to DL Puffin browser. It does at least allow streaming and youtube vids seem to play. I don't know if ff can't resolve the problem or just aren't bothered but there are no reassurances, no hang in there, guys, we're working on it. So my advice to anyone suffering the same 4.4 issues, give Puffin a look at.
Puffin, is a cloud-server-support browser as to why Flash videos still works on Android 4.4. Also their site says the free version has only 2 weeks evaluation period for Flash support.
There is a bug report about Flash not working on Kit Kat. For reading as Bugzilla is not a discussion forum like here.

James, just read your bug reports. Barely understood a word of it but it does show how hard you guys work behind the scenes. It's the not knowing that frustrates. I'll keep checking back as ff has always been my goto browser. Hope you guys can sort it.
Shumway is a replacement for flash on the desktop platform, I guess that bug james posted means its going mobile too.
There is nothing you can do about Flash since Adobe quit on that a long time ago.
Even if they were to get a hack or workaround going there is the issue of whether it can be done without the mobile Firefox and or Flash in Firefox having stability or be crash prone issues.
It looks like Mozilla may have gotten the old Flash Plugin to work (on Android 4.4) on the Nightly channel of Firefox where 29.0a1 is currently being developed on until move/merge on channels on or before Feb 4.
If you are will to be tester and get updates each day. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/nightly/latest-mozilla-central-android/fennec-29.0a1.multi.android-arm.apk

Note this won't be functional till the 17th's build.
Looks like the next Beta build of 27.0 may have the fix also now.
