Already corresponding with Trusteer, but for your info:

Reinstalled Trusteer, yes, had re-started pc and still no difference. NB trusteer says it is running and address bar icon is set to visible.

Wonder which version of FF I should use now? Think I`d just updated it (at the suggestion of a driver tool that said my version of FF was out-of-date).

Thanks, "Lozenge"

Have installed Truster Rapport in Firefox 26 and is working. The Endpoint Protection now appear on the FF 26 bar. The update is available on the Trusteer > https://www.trusteer.com/ > for Windows and Mac. Site in many languages.

Hello,

Firefox v26 is currently in Beta it has not been formally released yet so you are likely to run into some issues like this. 3rd Party Software like Trusteer are unlikely to update their software to work with v26 until it is released in December.

If you need Trusteer to work then I suggest you install Firefox v25 which is the latest released version. You can download it from here:

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox

Please let me know if that solves your problem.

Hello eddyc!

Many thanks for your sage advice (was dimly aware I was running a Beta version FF26) and I followed your advice and have now installed FF25, it is working, and the Trusteer address bar icon is back = I am happy that my pc is more secure again.

Perfect solution, thank you so much :)

Firefox 26.0 and Trusteer Rapport... I have just tried twice to download then apply and then reboot with fresh TR. No icon in address bar despite Console saying yes and TR showing on "Whats Running". No problem with IE8, green and gray icon which switches color as it should. Nothing on Firefox. Checked cookies on.

So what is the matter with FF? I see people elsewhere are saying Firefox 24+ will not run with Java. Any suggestions?

So I tried again, uninstalled FF26 and downloaded FF25..... no good, same situation of no address bar icon for TR.

Can anyone guess what is going on please?
