Firefox 8 doesnot work on my Win-7 Laptop/notebook

Once I down loaded Firefox-8 (F-8) it does not work right on my Win-7 Notebook. The graphics were shown but not the content to work as a program. Most of my favourites did could'nt operate too and also many were blank instead with a logo.... It works well on my Vista notebook.

Now I took Firefox-7 from the Vista on a USB-stick and tried to copy it on the Win-7 computer. After a few days of trying and changing F-8 only works through the USB-Stick on Win-7 computer...and can not make a icon on my desktop page. So it is still a problem and I like to work only with F-7?

Can someon help me with 1) the right install on Win-7 and or help me with F-7 to that computer with icon or logo to work normal???
