In the "manage search engines" tab, how do I remove Yahoo search engine from my Search Engine Tab?

Question In the "manage search engines" tab, I removed all engines except Google. Yesterday, 10-19-2011, I received a warning notification that there was an attempt to change my default search engine. When I restarted Firefox, the Yahoo search engine had been added AND moved to the top of my default search engine list. I have edited and deleted Yahoo several times now, and it continues to re-install itself and I get a notification warning each time. How do I permanently remove the Yahoo search engine from my Search Engine Tab?
