Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
         This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept  cookies.

I have an IIS site on my machine accessible by typing my IP into a browser address bar. The index.html shows up fine in Firefox. But that page has links on it to some directories - no index.htm in those directories, they are they so that I (when I'm away from home) can get a directory listing and perhaps even download. Clicking on those links brings up an error message: The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. The page is configured in IIS correctly. The browser Chrome displays the directories perfectly. Checking from outside my LAN by using my cellphone and the internet connection provided with it also displays the directories perfectly. The browser Opera claims the 'object has moved' and provides a link to click on which then displays the directories perfectly. How can I get Firefox to display correctly - i.e. how should I change my html or how should I ask users to change their Firefox installations? regards, ab
