After upgrading to 3.6.11, firefox does not start when executing a html file. (neither in total commander, nor in windows explorer, or in outlook)

When double-clicking on a html file in windows explorer, I get this message: There was a problem sending the command to the program.

Opening a link in outlook 2007: General failure. The URL was: "http://..." An error occurred in sending the command to the application.

In total commander: Error executing program.

Windows 7. I guess the association is screwed. Also tried to reset the association (to internet explorer, then to firefox back again)
