In version 34.0, Firefox optimized an interactive operation, which is "Reduced the steps to search in a new tab by automatically popping up the keyboard". This is really bad for me, because I don't always have to search for things, I just want to open my bookmarks, or other options. This update allows me to click the back arrow in the upper left corner to open Firefox directly or to open a new tab (as shown in Figure 1). Is this a reduction step? By the way, if you want to search the web, if Firefox is set as the default browser, you only need to pull down the input content on the home screen and click Firefox to automatically enter Firefox to display the search results. Isn't it more convenient? And canceling this update will not make the search cumbersome, not at all, please see if the major browser apps have done so.

In addition, when you focus on the search, click on the place other than the keyboard and search bar, instead of canceling the search and returning to the default state, but directly entering the shortcut webpage, and if the action in the previous sentence is changed to sliding, the screen shown in Figure 2 appears. Interface, this is even worse, I have to click the arrow in the upper left corner again to return to the default state. In other words, I also need to prevent accidental touches. Only by clicking the damn arrow can I click my bookmarks or other options! Which browser will pop up the keyboard as soon as it is opened? Does anyone search for things as soon as they open the browser, or only open the browser when they want to search for something? If you really think it is very user-friendly, please add a switch to it, because some users don't like it.
Firefox is really great, but please don't let it become overbearing. Thank you very much.
