Yesterday my PC broke and when I fixed it I was singed out of my Firefox account. I apparently don't remember the password. I can't try it effectively because it blocks me every couple of passwords for 15 minutes. Despite that I believe I've tried all likely options. If I want to recover my password I have to lose all bookmarks and data, which obviously defeats the purpose. I read about the recovery key, since I'm still signed in on my phone I thought I'd use it from there, but to access my account settings it asks for my password even though I'm signed in. Even to ask a question here I needed a password. So this account is obviously temporary. This is beyond stupid. Wtf am I supposed to do??
