Thunderbird truncates some (but not all) of my email text. This is NOT the signature cropping issue.
Dear all,
I've used Thunderbird for many years (decades, most likely). I've never had this issue until recently, when I've had an increasing number of correspondees reporting that my emails to them are truncated.
This is NOT the old "feature" of truncating a signature (https://superuser.com/questions/222345/mozilla-thunderbird-truncates-my-message-on-reply-forward)
Instead, it seems to do it for receipients at specific formatting elements. See attached for an example ("truncated.png").
Curiously, the copy in my Sent folder is NOT truncated ("original.png").
Unfortunately this is now happening sufficiently frequently to be causing me a huge amount of friction in my hour-to-hour work, and I'm beginning to lose faith in the safety of sending emails.
I just upgraded to 78.5.1 from 78.5 to no avail.
Does anyone have any insights into this new issue...?
thanks!
Morgan
