I have used my email address which is @gmail.com <--- I have been locked out from this account as I do not have access to Google authenticator or the backed up passwords Funny thing is I have used the same email address but this time I used @googlemail.com <--- and I now have access to a new Firefox sync account. This is silly. As my email address accepts both domains @gmail.com and @googlemail.com My question is... Why am I having to set up a new account using @googlemail.com Why can't I just get a reset password to my email address which I own to @gmail.com so I can recover my sync account. I totally understand the security part of it... But it's my email address. I would like a recovery code sent to my email so I can access to my sync account. The current process for recovering access to a sync account is sad. And needs improving. Please can you help me recover my sync account where I'm using @gmail.com Kind regards MM89
