Enable manual locking of lockwise password list, prevent spontaneous popups when locked?
I'm very pleased with how easy to use FF Lockwise is. I had some questions and concerns about capabilities:
1) I leave my Firefox instances open for long periods of time. I do not feel secure knowing all my online accounts can be accessed just a few clicks away. Is there a way to manually lock the autofill password feature without restarting my browser?
2) When Lockwise is locked behind the master password, without prompting a login to a website or having the desire to login, Firefox will repeatedly present me with a pop-up window asking for the master password. Is there any way to prevent this pop-up from occurring until I click on the autofill menu options in a login field?
Thanks a lot. I hope this project continues to grow and remain tied to open source!

Hi Matt, for #1, you won't need to re-enter the Master/Primary password again until the next session, except in one scenario and that is where you re-trigger the dialog and fail to enter the password successfully. So one way to re-lock is, on the Logins and Passwords, page, click the Copy button or the "eye" icon next to a password and cancel the dialog. Then Firefox will require the Master/Primary password again before auto-filling. Perhaps there is a more efficient approach, but I'm not aware of one.
For #2, the prompt might be presented periodically when Firefox wants to use a saved credential to log in to your Firefox Account for Sync purposes. I can't think of another reason it would appear randomly.

Note that Firefox won't ask for the primary password when you click the eye icon to reveal the password once you have entered it during a session. You can close and reopen about:logins to re-enable the prompt.
You can possibly check the login status via the security device manager and logout manually.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Certificates: Security Devices -> Software Security Device
You may have to zoom out the security device manager window to make the right sidebar with the Logout button visible.
