Old History Showing Up as Recently Closed Tab

I was using my phone and found a tab from a rather embarrassing website I frequented years ago. The last time I used Firefox was in 2018 on my Macbook, but when using it on my Galaxy S10 after recently redownloading, the link to the website was in my recently closed. I remembered Firefox doesn't delete history based on time anymore, but on a page quota that's met. However, it wasn't in my history after being searched, which baffled me. It showed up only as a recently closed tab, with other searches I made within the past few days. However, there are some weird issues with this too. I have closed other tabs more recently that didn't pop up in the recently closed tabs list, and there were tabs from days ago still on there that should've been pushed out. My theory was that it's not exactly chronological, but I didn't think it was possible to have history from 2 years ago showing up, especially as a recently closed tab and not as a part of the history list. This issue doesn't exist on my Macbook, and the recently closed tabs list works perfectly fine. Is this an issue that's prevalent or anyone has seen when using Firefox Android? Is it possible for history to be kept this long? If so, what's the quota based on?

Hi

If that page was in the history on your laptop and the laptop was logged into your Firefox Account to use Firefox Sync, when you signed into that same account in Firefox Preview, that site would have come across in the browsing history.
