Hi, I'm running Firefox on a chromebook. When I go to google.com the FireFox browser states the connection is insecure.

I was hoping to follow the breadcrumbs further to understand root cause. There was no apparent path. Could I ask for some feedback?

(This error does not occur on the built-in chrome browser when visiting google.com)

THanks, Jeff

Hi

We do not make available or test Firefox for Android for Chromebooks, so this may be an issue that we cannot resolve at the present time.

If you type about:support into the address bar, what is the version number given as?

Thank you, this helps.

The version fields don't appear to be populating (thinking this is an OS level uniqueness in that case).

That is...unusual.

As I mentioned, previously, we do not currently design or test Firefox for Android to run on Chromebooks. I do know that there is a way to run Linux on some newer Chromebooks and through this you should be able to install a full version of Firefox, but having never tried this myself, I suggust you have a look online to see the rough guides on how to do this.
