Hello,

I am using Firefox on different OS. I have read some threads about my question, but I still don´t understand.

Let´s start with the OS / Firefox / Citrix Receiver I am using:

1. Linux (Fedora 28) with Firefox 60.2.0esr (64bit) and Citrix Receiver 13.10.0.20 2. MacOS 10.12.6 with Firefox 61.0.1 (64bit) and Citrix Receiver 12.9.0 (52) 3. Windows 10 with Firefox 62.0 (64bit) and Citrix Receiver 14.12.0.18020

Additional info: on none of these systems, the citrix receiver is listed under "about:plugins".

My question/problem is: When I open a remote desktop with systems 2 & 3, it is opened in a new window on the system. But when I open it on system 1, Firefox opens it in a tab in the browser, that seems to mean that here, HTML5 is used. As I read quite in some threads, it might be a problem that Firefox is not supporting the plugin sinver version 52. But why is then used the external program on MacOS and Windows?

Overall, I want to understand why this happens. Can somebody help me in understanding what is happening here from the start?
