'about:' says Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0

On a page like this https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/range

I see only a gray rectangle where I should see the slider. The sliders are functional, they can be clicked and have a value depending on where they were clicked. But there is no indication on the relative value, just a gray rectangle.

It works fine on the android version, see pictures. http://imgur.com/a/fHtEr

Interestingly, this http://jsfiddle.net/esvqpkbf/7/ is displayed as expected.

I assume those gray rectangles are not expected behaviour. What's wrong here?
