On CentOS 5.11 64-bit, running in VirtualBox under a Windows 7 host, Firefox ESR 38.2.1 reports warning each time I use the application. The message

    "Gecko:28864): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: IA__g_object_notify: object class `MozContainer' has no property named `window'"

appears repeatedly in the xterm, so does

    console.error:
      [CustomizableUI]
      Custom widget with id loop-button does not return a valid node"

I removed ~/.mozilla in an attempt to fix the problem, to no avail. After starting Firefox, when setting the options again, I got several additional errors:

    "(Gecko:28545): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_clipboard_set_with_data: assertion `targets != NULL' failed"

The warnings happen with both the 64-bit and the 32-bit version of Firefox, the CRITICAL error was with the 64-bit version. What can I do to get rid of these messages?

Thanks. ErnstC
