When I flash my ZTE Open C Ebay US version using the French community open build, 2.x works but can't connect to the phone network to place calls. Any fix?
I own a ZTE Open C, US Ebay version. I can successfully update it to the French community's open builds, and they look wonderful and work great, for the most part; I can connect to WiFi and even receive texts.
However, for some reason, while I can receive calls (sporadically), I can't make them. No matter how many times I reboot, remove the battery, etc., I keep seeing "No network" as the error message; it happens instantly, as though the call option is somehow disabled. Because of this, I've had to reluctantly revert to ZTE's 1.3 stock build.
Is there a file I can copy over or anything simple I can do to make the phone work in the US, on the T-Mobile network? This is the only thing holding me back from switching to those builds.

Thank you for your question. It seems that these builds are just a custom flash from the flame branch and is not something this is guaranteed. This also seems to be a question on the build bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1016867
However since you are asking about a specific issue with wireless it could be an issue associated with the version that was flashed. What is the gecko and gaia versions that were flashed or that show up under About Device in the Settings?
I have a us version and the French builds. Everything works fine. I use Aurora
