Viewing a website containing Indic fonts in Mozilla Firefox on a non-rooted Android phone

Recently, I tried to access a website in Firefox on my Android device. The website contains a specific Indic font. I noticed that the website is not displayed in the mobile browser as it is displayed on my PC. The intended font is replaced by some other font. As I have root access on my Android mobile, I moved the "fontname.ttf" file (which I downloaded from the Web) to my "/system/fonts" folder and restarted my phone. Now I can view the website perfectly. Could you please provide a similar solution on non-rooted Android phones? I do not have much idea about how Firefox is getting access to the font in the root directory (though the Firefox browser app does not have root permission on my device). I have decided to post this question in this forum as this solution doesn't work on any other Android browser. My device: (Android 4.4.4, Firefox 32.0.1)

Thank you.
