How do I set up Ghostery
For some reason I do not have any way to configure ANY of my Addons, I've exhausted the help forums to no avail. I'm about ready to give up on Firefox and use the default browser. Its too bad because I use Firefox on my desktop also but don't have these problems

In Firefox for Android, if you open
menu > Tools > Add-ons
you should find each add-on listed. If you tap an add-on, if it has configuration options, a button should appear to open them. (This would be above the Disable and Uninstall buttons.)
Does that work on yours?
hello Cailu, desktop addons won't all work on firefox for android - their developers would need to port it to that plattform. you can find addons that run on your firefox for android browser at https://addons.mozilla.org/android/
That's just it there is NO options to configure it, when I tap the addons it takes me to the addons home page only . Forget it I'll just go back to the default browser and do the same with my desktop
Hmm, you're the second person this week who said that Tools > Add-ons on Android doesn't list their current add-ons. Not sure why that is happening. If someone finds a solution in another thread I will try to update this one.
Then it looks like I'm stuck using the default browser and will be uninstalling Firefox from my desktop also.
Hi Cailu, we can only help with problems that you mention. What is wrong with Firefox on your desktop system? Or is this some kind of protest thing?
Its a protest. Aparentl y no one seems to know what their doing. I use Ghostery on my laptop, and have options for it but the android version I have no way to set them. Then I feel like I'm being treated like an idiot by your support staff. Sorry that don't fly with me. UNINSTALLED!
Not everyone here uses every add-on...
In an effort to be more helpful, I installed Ghostery on Firefox 32/Android. I didn't see anything during the post-installation tour that told me how to use it, and didn't see it any in menus.
But as soon as I loaded a page I saw a little "blue ghost" icon in the lower right. Tapping the icon opened a tutorial, and closing the tutorial gave me a screen that seemed mostly blank.
Loading a different page the ghost had a number overlaid on it. Tapping that icon displayed a list of trackers. (Screen shots attached.) The "gear" icon here opened a row of buttons and the Options button led to a hidden page (resource://firefox-at-ghostery-dot-com/ghostery/data/options.html -- I suggest bookmarking that).
After adjusting some blocking options, the ghost seemed to lose its sensitivity to tapping. I restarted Firefox by opening a new guest session (menu > Tools > New Guest Session) then exiting the new guest session (menu > Exit Guest Session). When I got my tabs back, the ghost icon was working again.
It's a journey...
