Every once in a while, maybe once or twice a week, I'll press Cmd+L to highlight the address bar, type a URL for a new website, and press enter, and instead of going to that new website Firefox just reloads the current page. It seems that this happens exclusively when the current website is gmail.com. (I might be wrong) I can't remember it happening on any other website. This problem has been occurring for me for the past year at least. Any recommendations?

For several sites, when i check 'trust this device' it doesn't work. next time i signin it still requires 2fa from the site. i've checked and the certificates do exist as i get a message saying already exists when i try to import. this is a very user hostile function. I do not have this issue with Chrome or Microsoft Edge!!!!! i hate to begin using one of these vs Mozilla Firefox to get around this but i may have to do so. my wife and i share access to critical sites so if i need to see her info or she needs to see mine, we both have to be available in order to access the site. Mozilla Firefox 'bug' is requiring us to do so and it doesn't satisfy our requirements. any ways to solve this issue is greatly appreciated. so far no 'searched' solutions work.

I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

In Proton Mail, when I receive an email with an picture attached inline, I get the following error message: "Your browser could not verify the remote server's identity. The image might be hosted using the http protocol." Is this issue with settings in Proton or Firefox? How do I fix this? See image below. Thank you.

I did an hardreset to my computer yesterday, today I logged in to my FireFox account and now all of my stuff (History, Passwords, Bookmarks) are from 2020. I don't have any backup, what do I do?

I was able to open reddit.com without any problems earlier, but recentrly I'm not able to load it up anymore. The loading screen is eternal and it doesnt show any kind of error (unless it tries to connect for too long like a couple of minutes, then the error does shows up). The site still sends me notificarions through the browser though. Any other site loads up without a problem. I tried to use methods mentioned in the help article (turned off proxy, turned on network.dns.disableIPv6, deleted cookies and cache). In other browsers (Edge, for example) reddit.com loads just fine. Please help me if you can.

there seem to be a recaptcha issue - it was working yesterday, and today it doesn't. In recent weeks a PopUp is appearing on my Outlook.live.com Hotmail screen: "Add Outlook.live.com as an application for mailto links? There is no choice to Decline only to Add it. You can Close the link with the X but it keeps returning each time I log in.

We are cautioned repeatedly not to click on unknown links so I haven't.

Could someone please explain in "layman terms" why I am getting this, what it's for and how to stop it?

I've recently had a little video window appear in the bottom right corner of my browser screen. I can't find any control link to eliminate it other than closing it manually every time it appears. Where did it come from and how do I get rid of it?

Whenever i encounter a reCAPTCHA, and click "i am not a robot", the wheel keeps spinning and spinning and spinning. I never get to the screen where i have to verify images or a check mark. Just started happening randomly.

I've spent hours searching. Tried every single solution-new profile, erased firefox and reinstalled, troubleshoot mode, firefox refresh, turned tracking protection off, changed network settings, reset wifi adapter, you name it i tried it. I need to get past reCAPTCHA's for work. Getting so frustrated. Please help!

One important point-the only other browser i have on my laptop is Microsoft edge and it' works perfectly on Edge!

Hi, I have been using firefox for many years and never showed me an UAC popup requiring permissions to update firefox as soon as i clicked the firefox icon in the taskbar. Today suddenly required it. I am administrator in windows 10, and have automatic updates enabled as always. I am using 125.0.3 (64-bit) version. This could be a bug or a virus? i am worried that could have given permission to a virus to install something else when i pressed the firefox icon.

Every time I open a new tab, another extra tab opens automatically with the following address: https://0.0.0.1/

showing this message: An error occurred during a connection to 0.0.0.1.

I already re-installed Firefox but this bug keems popping up.

BTW: I did not do a d*** thing. It just started yesterday and is extremely annoying!

When searching with google it always opens a new Tab with some not working Address. Whether i just search or click on pictures or look at a picture more in detail it always opens this tab: Look at picture: At this point it is really annoying and in the settings of the browser i don't seem to find a solution. I can't access my Virgin e-mail. I sign in with usual e-mail and password, then click and the link just doesn't work. The same when I ry to access my Virgin account details. Sign in and the links just don't work. It was fine yesterday, but there has been another Mozilla 'Update' which has 'Broken' the Virgin site! Can I roll back to the previous version of Firefox? There does seem to be an awful lot of updates; every few days it sems. Why?

I use the Rapport Add-on to protect my personal info especially when doing on-line banking at the moment I have to use Chrome but I would rather stay with Firefox but you dont have this extension why?

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. I am trying to log on to my account at SketchUp. At the login page i hit get started and a black page come up except in the top left corner is typed "Firefox not responding" the page hangs a few moments then it takes me back to SketchUp login. I have not had any recent updates done or required since last logged in and that was yesterday all worked well.
