I've recently switched back to Firefox from Edge and have run into a frustrating issue.

When I try to print documents from Firefox, the "Color Mode" in the print settings is grayed out so I can't select B&W.

This same problem exists both on my MacOS laptop + my Windows 11 desktop. Additionally, they are connected to different printers on different networks. It also occurs whether I'm trying to print a PDF or anything else in Firefox.

Based on this, it appears Firefox is the culprit here.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi, can you help? I can't access morphy richards website from my phone and my pc through Firefox. I can access it through Microsoft Edge on my pc and my Samsung Internet app on my phone but not through my Firefox app or windows 11 Pro desktop pc. I get this message on my pc

Steps I have taken is clearing data, history and cache on pc, turning off mcafee firewall. I use my pc through a wired Internet connection and my phone through Wi-Fi and data and it's the same on both I can't access the website. Like I mentioned I can access it no problems through Microsoft Edge on my pc and Samsung Internet app on my phone so I have now pinpointed it to Mozilla Firefox being the issue, also this is the only website I have issues with. hi, i see a new addon in my bookmarks bar- extensions , on the right above... its not possible to drag it down to customize toolbar .i can drag /up and down/other itmes buy why not this one? pls fix it...

Hello. Since I use the bookmark bar and fullscreen mode a lot, I would like to be able to see the bookmark bar in fullscreen, not on every tab, but only in a new (empty) tab, so that I can avoid disabling fullscreen to access the bookmark bar and at the same time not having any part of the interface visible unless I'm in a new tab. I recently got a new PC, and every time I open up Firefox it instantly closes. I have tried downloading it on the Microsoft Store, it seems to work fine for 5 minutes and then it happens again.

In reference to my previous post ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1382198?page=1 ) I have noticed that the "jumping while scrolling" in the Facebook News feed has returned after a couple of months of proper behavior. Ver. 108.0.2 It's not as bad as it was but it seems to be getting worse.

Is the circus back in town?

Am I going to have to move back to Chrome again ?? >:-(

Ever since upgrading to windows 11 firefox developer edition will not work for me at all.

I have reinstalled it multiple times now and every single time its the same thing, after a fresh install I can open the browser, use it once, close the browser and then it breaks and I am unable to use it again - sometimes i cant even open it up again it creates a background process in the task manager but never appears.

• - None of the tabs will load anything at all including any of the settings pages or debug/troubleshooting page (about:<page>) - its like it doesnt even attempt to load anything its completely unresponsive
• - Clicking on any buttons in firefox/options menu do nothing
• - If i close it i see between 2-10 firefox processes appear in my task manager which i have to go through and end each task before i am able to open the browser up again and even then that doesnt always work.
• - Because it opens a bunch of processes when you close the browser and this prevents it from re-opening it is not possible to put it into troubleshooting mode
• - Even after a fresh install (described below) after re-installing the browser it always opens for the first time with a message saying that 'I have reinstalled firefox would i like to refresh the browser' with a button to refresh - If i click this refresh button it instantly breaks it

In order to fix this I have to completely remove firefox from my machine including:

• - Everything in my users folder
• - Everything in program files/programdata
• - Search my C:\ drive and remove all traces of mozilla/firefox i can find
• - Clear all temp files
• - Run a disk cleanup
• - Restart my machine

Before i can attempt to install firefox again. If i dont do this after i reinstall it opens firefox up in exactly the same state it was in before i uninstalled it, same tabs open & completely unresponsive.

So yesterday I got a new computer and downloaded Firefox to be my default browser. It worked fine the first few hours -- I was able to log into my account, set up my extensions, and use the browser as intended. A few hours in, though, it completely crashed on me. I am unable to go to new websites, refresh a page, open bookmarks, log in to my Firefox account, or even open settings; the home screen also doesn't load when I open a new tab. Literally the only thing I can do is freeze the Bookmarks Toolbar and customize the Toolbar. I tried closing and reopening, refreshing/resetting the browser, restarting my computer, going into Troubleshoot mode, deleting and redownloading the application, but nothing is working. I have no trouble with Firefox on my previous computer or my phone, and Edge is working fine on this computer. I don't know what to do anymore. Any help would be much appreciated.

Today, when I had turned on my pc, apparently Firefox had updated (?) my browser and ALL of my bookmarks are gone!?? I had copied my bookmarks from my other pc that had Windows 7 onto my new pc that has Windows 11 several months ago and haven't had any issues (with the bookmarks) - until today. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can no longer print from firefox. The final print always comes out 1/5 +- size and is unreadable. It doesnt matter what king of a document it is and if I go to chrome or edge it prints fine. This began occurring I believe after the last version.

Every time I try to sign into my Google account (including related sites like YouTube), I'm rerouted to the Microsoft sign in page for my old university, and can't log in. This only happens on Firefox, if I switch to another browser then there's no problem.

So far I've tried:

• Deleting all of my history including my cache and cookies.
• Once I'm at the site I'm rerouted to, going into History, right-clicking on the url, and clicking "Forget this site."

Neither have worked. Any suggestions appreciated!

Every time i open Firefox a little window comes up and says for a fraction of a second that im using an older version of Firefox (Even though that i'm using the latest) and then it crashes. I've tried everything, from reinstalling, rebooting, making exceptions in the firewall and even manually installing Firefox, but nothing. Before anyone asks, i do not have AVG, Avast or Commodo, and the Firewall is the basic Windows one. The issue is very similar to this one:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/970099. I also tried what they said, but unfortunately nothing woks for me.

I have the browser.urlbar.trimURLs switched to TRUE but still as you can see in the screenshot it shows the complete URL with the protocols. I do not want this, I want it to hide it and only show the main link like youtube.com instead of https://youtube.com

Since recent updates to Firefox I get a purple pop-up listing Trackers at the bottom right of my screen every time I open a new webpage. I'm happy with my PC security settings and have good protection software running - but this pop-up listing Trackers is becoming a nuisance.

Is there a way to stop Firefox displaying the Tracker notification pop-ups whilst still intercepting and blocking them in accordance with my security settings?

I see that other users have asked the same question, but it does not seem to have been answered yet.

Lately in Google Drive I get this error when I select one image or a file: Impossible load details. Retry. I have Firefox 108 version, on Edge and Chrome all is OK. Also the troubleshoot mode doesn't resolve the problem.

Firefox always uses excessive GPU memory when I watch video and livestream. about:memory shows that the explict GPU memory allocation is only about 200 MB but in the task manager the GPU memory usage is 1GB, and the latter doesn't decrease even if I close the tab. I suspect that this is a memory leak. I searched for Bugzilla and found a similar issue that has been existing for years: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1386177

Since the latest update the whole browser screen is messed up. Elements are moving as I move the mouse, even the Bookmark menu and site controls. Tried to reinstall, no luck.

Hello! Since the most recent firefox update, my settings and extensions have been inaccessible to me due to my firefox account profile being "old." It has been working perfectly until this update. If I try to change my profile to my old one, it forces me to create a new one which does not include my saved addons and settings. I am able to usually manually move my bookmarks to the new profile via the files stored locally. I really need access to the settings and extensions, so it would be great if someone can help me to recover them. I tried to troubleshoot by finding my extensions local folder from my old profile, and I copied it to a new profile, but it didn't work. I am also wondering, if I do copy the extensions successfully, how can I also copy the settings preferences? Any solution is appreciated, thank you!
