hello, i would like to change what page shows up when i open a new tab (to the you.com page), i tried new tab override but then the adress bar on top has the url i opened chose which is very inconvenient

Hi, my site is Enrgtech and we are decided in last meeting to create a Mozilla Firefox extension. As we know, it is a big task, but can you please guide us or refer us any of the best developer. we want the following function in the extension.

• This should automate coupons applied on our website
• We want our customers to save the webpage and revisit it again.

I have been observing an issue since a month that- a few YouTube videos are not being played when it is opened in Firefox, whereas the same videos are working fine in other browsers. The videos are getting loaded by the time, and the captions are also visible but no picture is visible and no sound. First I thought, may be it's an issue of the AdBlocker (uBlock Origin) that is enabled in my browser, so I disabled it and tried again, but still the same problem.

I followed all of the steps for Firefox taking up too much memory, and stopped when it said to add RAM or upgrade my computer. Browsers shouldn't be maxing out my RAM and it's getting worse. In the last 6 months or so, my computer started crashing while doing other things unrelated to Firefox. Went into my task manager and saw that Firefox was taking up most of my RAM. Yes, I have a lot of tabs open, but they didn't cause my computer to run out RAM like this last year. Why is it being such a pig?

I have 32GB of RAM and that stuff is costly. I might not be able to find RAM for this computer and may have the max amount (will have to check that). So is buying a new computer because this one cost me over $4.5k and one like it today will cost over $6k ... just because Firefox wants to eat up more and more? Once I kill Firefox, my RAM goes back down to 45% instead of 90%, but I don't like it closed. I have to restart too many steps for extensions when I open it and like to have it open while I do other things.

Please, stop increasingly taking up all of my RAM! Firefox is causing all sorts of strange things to happen when there's too little RAM. Blue screen of death, programs not being able to start, monitor wigging out, etc. Give us a break today.

The question in the subject field was posted 7 years ago. I am still having this problem in version 104.0.1 (2022) on Mac. First I updated youtube tab with cmd+shift+R still same problem. Then I deleted cache with cmd+shift+backspace still same problem. I had to delete all my history in FIrefox before video was playing. Am I doing something wrong or need something being fixed :-)

Going to any page on the ESPN.com site, videos are playing automatically - both video and audio - despite the fact that I have Firefox set to block both.

I am running Firefox 104.0.2 (latest version) on Windows 10.

Seems like the blocker is missing something, somehow. Anyone else see this?

When I create a file to print in Firefox ( in this case from Etsy ) the preview looks ok but when the file is printed or saved as a PDF then the text parts of the file are ok ... but the images are much too large.

You can see this on the attached images ... how it should look and how its coming out!?

Not highlighting selection to copy or delete so I have no idea where I am. If I cut it does cut what I've tried to highlight on my new iMac--- this issue is firefox related-- works fine in chrome and safari'... I need make this feature work in Firefox-- don't want to move away
