There is no audio on any website in Firefox only. I'm using Windows 11

1. Numbered list item When a video is playing there used to be an audio icon showing the tab is playing audio, this does not show anymore.
2. Numbered list item Firefox does not appear in the Windows volume mixer
3. Numbered list item The Firefox Task Manager Utility 'Windows Media Framework Audio Decoder is always idle.
4. Numbered list item I've restarted the Windows AudioSrv service and Windows explorer process

Nothing works. Please help.

I can sign into YouTube ok, and the pictures of the video's are ok, but whatever I try to watch I get a green screen and just the video sound? It started happening yesterday. I am getting fed up with YouTube and the issues it has with Firefox. I'm having to use Microsoft Edge to watch videos. I've done the 3 resets it says on the support page, but still have the issue. Firefox just updated to version 120.0 I hadn't used youtube for a while. When I tried to play youtube videos none of them will play, only get a green screen with audio In troubleshooting mode they will play Refreshing firefox does not fix the problem

HTTPS://SECURE.SSA.GOV open okay but when go to next page to SIGN-IN, Firefox is blocking it as following/below. What the heck is going on blocking SSA Sign-In after main Website is already open ?!?!?!?!?!

Possibly there was an auto update of MOZILLA FIREFOX on our DELL LAPTOP (Windows 11). Now, we cannot get a Mozilla window to open - due to error message:

XUL Runner Error: Platform version '118.0.1' is not compatible with minVersion >= 118.0 maxVersion <=118.0

Can someone please help us get back to a previous version of Mozilla Fire. Perhaps it is a Windows error. I have no way of knowing. Please help me. My email is: [removed email from public] Thank you.

Amazon Prime Videos will not play on Fire Fox. The message says to update Firefox, but my browser is up to date as of today, 10-24-23. Their customer service can provide no answer. This has been an ongoing problem for several months. I have tried their trouble shooting steps of restarting my system, signing out and re-signing in on Amazon and closing and re-opening Firefox. Allow DRM content is checked on my settings. Thanks.

I can't get rid of a solid green screen when playing back internet video, on You Tube for example. The problem only started recently - it was fine before that. I have always used Firefox as my default browser.

I can no longer view YouTube videos in Firefox browser because they think I have some kind of add blocker installed. I have never installed such a thing and have no idea how to fix what they are demanding I must fix in order to continue with YouTube in the FireFox browser. In the mean time I have to use some other unfamiliar browser just for YouTube. It appears that some kind of incompatibility has evolved in the recent two or three weeks between Firefox and YouTube.

I have multiple monitors and most often have Firefox windows open on each. Lately, I've been noticing that the Desktop Window Manager process is consuming a huge amount of RAM. At the same time, consumption completely disappears with the closing of Firefox windows. OS: Windows 11 (Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22621.1928]). Firefox: 115.0.1 (64-bit) Screen setup: 1 - 3840 x 2560 with 200% scale, 2 - 1920 x 1080 with 100% scale.

Dear I have a problem we use certificates to authenticate user login to our corporate resources websites, and Firefox remembers the user choice for a certificate which is, by the way, was wrong and denied the access i tried to forget the history and cleared the cookies but still the browser seems to remember the certificate also made sure to set the choice to "Ask for certificate" but it do not show the prompt when browsing to the website.

I used Total Adblock on Firefox for a whole year successfully then suddenly Total Adblock did not work (even after I paid the yearly fee for that service). Then Total Adblock claimed Firefox would not allow/support Total Adblock, BUT WAS WORKING WITH MOZILLA TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. Is this true ?? When, if ever, will Firefox allow/support Total Adblock ? What is the solution to the following problem? PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

This issue has been reported many times. It has been occurring quite frequently, to the point where I've had to abandon Firefox and use a different browser.

I have lots of bookmarks, which I organise into folders and subfolders. In the last month or so, Firefox will no longer save them to the folder I specify from the pull-down menu when saving but just adds them to the general bookmarks menu. To sort my bookmarks, I have to go into Manage Bookmarks and move them manually. What's happened?
