How do I import my bookmarks to Firefox 8.0 running under Vista?

I got a new computer that runs under Vista and I'm having some problems transferring everything from the old computer (Windows XP) to the new. In particular none of my Firefox bookmarks, history cookies, saved passwords, etc got transferred as best I can tell.

I used the Windows Easy Transfer routine to move my app settings from the old to the new computer.

As far as the bookmarks go, I see a Favorites folder which contains the old computers bookmarks, but I can see no way to import that into Firefox. There is no "Manage Bookmarks" option that I can find.

The other stuff - history, passwords, etc. - are nowhere to be found.
