Everytime I start firefox an image of firefox disc pops up on the desk top -i eject it but then when firefox starts up again i get the message that it has been downloaded and click to open-then the disc pops up again on the desktop-how do i get rid of it?

I didn't know this was a beta or would not have downloaded as no experience to handle it
