troublle with saved passwords and user names - it doesn't fill the blank spaces automaticly anymore

For some time now Firefox isn't automatically filling my saved user name or passwords. I didn't change any settings, passwords and user names are saved-if I type my username, then the password appears. Before I just had to type the first letter of my username then the rest of it came up an when selected the password also filled up. PLZ help :)
