Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 8 Slow tab changing, generally slower than 3.xx?

Well I like the new interface and I always liked the stability of Firefox. But this version it "feels" slower. When I open 5-6 tabs, when I want to change to another tab it takes about half a second (maybe even less) to change to the that other tab... It's not my hardware I know that for sure, other browsers (Google Chrome, Opera etc.) work fine.

Now firefox reminds me of Internet Explorer. Cause IE had that problem since 7.0 version came out. And I don't like it... It ruins browsing experience. It gets very annoying.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Does it help if you disable tab animation by setting the browser.tabs.animate pref to false on the about:config page?
