Thunderbird doesn't load setup window
Hello people!
I have quite a strange problem with Thunderbird that I never encountered before. Since I setup my new OS, Thunderbird just doesn't load the browser window anymore, that appears after you type in your mail address and your password. It doesn't do anything, there's not even an indication of loading in form of a moving circle of something like that. I already tried to reinstall it multiple times and also tried other mail providers but nothing changes. Could it have something to do with DNS settings or VPN/Proxies which I use?

I suggest turning the VPN off. That may not be the ultimate solution, but VPNs are often the cause of problems.
Yes I know but I really care about privacy in my setup. The PC and OS I'm using were never connected to any services in the internet without a VPN and I want to keep it that way. I guess it's a DNS problem but I can't find any information about what Thunderbird exactly needs to be enabled in order for the email setup to work.
The reason to turn the VPN off is to see where the problem is. Until you change something, you won't know.
