How do I go back, and keep my messages?

Just updated from 60.x to 78.12.0. I want to go back.

Contrast between read messages and unread messages is not enough. Read messages used to be a different color entirely. Now it's just the non-bold version of the unread messages. And I can't even find a way to change the font to make that contrast better! If I can't tell at a glance how many unread messages there are, it's worthless to me.

And there's still no way to turn off password saving - I have a password manager for that, and I trust it WAY more than any email client. How many malicious messages do You get in your email every day? My password manager gets none.

The number beside the folder name is the unread count in the folder and always has been.

Interestingly most of the password "issues" in this forum are caused by password managers.

What does a password manager and malware have to do with one another. They are completely unrelated.

As for saving passwords, just don't ask the program to save them. But be aware that oAuth uses tokens that are not passwords as you would recognize them So they do not go into your password manager I guess. Mostly the tokens are cookies. Linked to quid information stored in Thunderbird password manager to prevent cross site usage of the cookie.
