After I first got the message I uninstalled Ffox and reinstalled it. Same message. So I can't get to any ffox menu, or buttons because I only have the one page with the message.

One suggestion was to uninstall and delete "firefox program file" but I can't find any file with that name on the C drive Mozilla Firefox folders

What can I do?

Did you verify that all additional language packs you have installed are updated to the current Firefox release?

  • about:addons page : Languages

Try to start Firefox once with the -purgecaches command line switch (make sure that Firefox is closed).

Final solution. Start Firefox holding the <shift> key (safe mode). Press <ctrl><shift>A then chose languages. Remove or disable all languages. Restart Firefox normally

01/11/2019 : Cor-El and Alberto,

Thank you for your contributions, but I think they relate to my earlier post (25/10/2019). The total uninstall and re-install I did on 30/10/2019 restored Firefox to proper working order.
