Details: Someone could be trying to impersonate the site and you should not continue. Websites prove their identity via certificates. The Firefox web browser itself is not doing the blocking on https:// connections.

Your antivirus or another security software is likely inserting its own certificate for https:// connections and is instead causing problems instead of helping.
