When you start the firebox typing in Yandex search query, the page is updated as if the search query is lost. If you do not hide the top sites and favorites then the page is also updated, the search query does not disappear. It is very inconvenient, it is necessary to wait 5-10 seconds at start when the page will be updated.

For me the first launch of Firefox does seem to take a lot longer than when I re-open Firefox later in the day. Without actually measuring the delay in being able to use Firefox 5 to 10 seconds sounds close. That delay seems to be extremely lengthy when compared to the older pre-Quantum (Firefox 57) versions; of which I have one still installed so I can see that each day. There is more "housekeeping" being done when Firefox is launched for the first time each day when compared to a year and a half ago with Firefox 56 and earlier versions .
