running two versions of thunderbird on a PC?
Is it possible to run two versions of Thunderbird on one PC one using POP and one using IMAP without partitioning the HD? or can you have one email address using POP3 and one email address using IMAP on the same version of Thunderbird is yes please indicate how

I am more than confused by the question.
I have around a dozen mixed IMAP and pop account currently in my folder list. SO I think we best start with something of a question. What are you trying to achieve?

Ok Mat sorry I have just now managed to solve this problem with trail and error much appreciate your input thanks will now marked it solved
