why do iframe show scrollbars when style with overflow:hidden ?

From release 28, it appears that Firefox (and XUL apps) no longer respect iframes with style="overflow:hidden" and instead shows system scrollbars

this seems to be quite an annoying regression for documents and applications designed for touch screen use.

a) is there an official bug registered for this b) is it possible to use css to hide the scrollbars eg height:0px and width:0px
