My deleted messages are being sent back to my inbox. I do not have virus software.
Every day after I have deleted certain emails they are sent back to my inbox. I do not have virus software so that is not the problem. Tried to fix this but cannot find any solution.

How often do you compact your folders? You should do that at least once a week (though, I do that every day). http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keep_it_working_-_Thunderbird
