When entering a target in the address bar, if the address is changed prior to the page load request completing, the new target will briefly load, then revert to the originally requested page. This is especially noticeable if an invalid page is originally entered, then corrected.

You can press the ESC key or click the Stop key to stop the loading if you want to edit the URL in the location bar to load a different page.

Yes I'm aware of those extra steps, however they are not intuitive; is this available as a configuration? If not, it appears as a bug, as the second page load completes while the first continues to attempt to complete in the background against operator input.
