You can block types of contact you follow on the tab content page but you cannot block specific sources of that content. For example, I don't want to see any content from NBC, so how can I block that source?

I just downloaded v153.0.4 and now there are no wallpapers on my New Tabs or Home Page. No custom url for new tabs either and the Firefox Home is a blank page.

What's up with that?

Hello. When I open a new tab page, all 6 panels below keep scrolling right like their not loading correctly. I have tried everything to make this go away since it is very distracting. Any ideas of how to fix?

On my Firefox Home Page, I selected two rows of PINNED shortcuts. Each time I open a webpage that webpage is added not only to the two selected rows of shortcuts, but "keeps" EVERY webpage selected after filling the two selected shortcut rows. It is not only annoying and inconvenient, but s l o w s work time to a crawl around these shortcuts ... few, if any, are helpful. If I want to re-entry an UNPINNED shortcuts, I go to history and select the one I want. WHEN is Fire Fox to solve this seemingly simple but annoying problem?

I appreciate that my browser is blocking trackers. I even have two additional extensions to boost the power of this. But I don't want the announcement every time I load up my browser. How do I turn this off? I'm using Firefox 153.0.3 (Build #2016176519), on a Google Pixel 7 running Android 16, kernel 6.1.145-android14-11-gfa1d6308d1fe-ab14691759 #1 Fri Jan 9 16:33:46 UTC 2026.

After reinstalling Firefox due to it being slow, no matter what settings, Firefox always opens and focuses on a new unwanted tab. But only if there are no extra tabs open except for my 5 pinned ones.

This behaviour started before I installed any Extensions.

How can I stop this?

Hi, On previous releases of firefox I could load 8 items across the home display. After upgrading I can only get 5 items and I can't find a way to increase this. I'm a new user so maybe I'm just dumb but I would appreciate some help. linux/ubuntu/firefox desktop. mike_a

Even when I open a new tab in Firefox, the focus remains on the address bar. I'd like to know how to fix this. When I open a new tab, the address bar gets the focus, which I find inconvenient. Is there a way or setting to prevent the address bar from getting the focus and instead focus on the search box in the middle? I've searched online and tried the "settings in about:config" suggested in the search results, but it didn't solve the problem. Is it impossible? Firefox 153.0.3 64it

Hi, since the last update for Mozilla on my laptop (version 153.0.1 (64 bit), all the website shortcuts in the Firefox homepage that I had pinned have disappeared. I also can't add new shortcuts. I checked in about:config and in browser.newtabpage.pinned the shortcuts are all there. The display settings for shortcuts are active.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?
