I'm long time user of Thunderbird Calendar. For most of the events in calendar I have reminders that should pop up for example 7 days before the event. This was working correctly.

About half year ago. The reminders stopped working. I don't get the reminder 7 days before, but they pop up on the day of the event. This is quite unpleasant. For example If I have my car technical check deadline and I get the reminder on the deadline, not 7 days ahead.

I have not changed any settings around the time it started happening.

So far I have checked: -Individual event reminder settings : yes they still got the reminder set up to pop up some days before the event -Settings / Calendar / Reminders / Show the reminder dialog - checked -Settings / Calendar / Notification / Show notifications for upcoming events - I added here "1 day before event starts" notification, but that also doesn't work. -Tried Googling the issue. Found some threads about reminders not popping at all. Not the case here. I don't get notifications before the event, but they pop up at the time of the event. No luck here.

Since about half a year has passed since this started, I guess it's not a bug that happens to everyone.

I did not really know what happened but every time I opened home page, it did not load. It was working before but suddenly it didn't. I have tried writing "about:home" into search bar and it returned nothing. Just a blank page and an empty search bar.

I've checked the settings and it should be fine. Nothing wrong with it. I've checked the flatpak version and its ok. I was able to open my home tab.

I am using Firefox 148.0.2 (64-bit) Debian .deb.

Fire fox wont allow Prowriting aid to run. Its a desktop app and should be able to run. I have tried updating both programs. Changed settings and done everything I can think of but it still wont work. I dont wish to change Browsers but may be forced to if this problem cant be fixed

Places where I've observed this behaviour:

• The 4th video in the description of https://store.steampowered.com/app/1363080/Manor_Lords/ (ignore the media carousel at the top of the page)
• This video https://dolphin-emu.org/m/user/blog/progress-report/2603/rebelstrike-texturestreaming-av1.webm that's loaded in an embed at https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2026/03/12/dolphin-progress-report-release-2603/

When these videos are in view and playing, they're decoded using the CPU and the browsers frame rate tanks (heavy/laggy scrolling when scrolling with mouse scroll wheel), I have a Geforce 3070 which includes support for AV1 decoding so I'm not sure what's happening.

AV1 videos found on Youtube like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foqVJq-XPTg are fully hardware accelerated by the GPU (Stats for nerds confirms it's playing an AV1 copy).

GPU usage is monitored by Task Manager in Windows 10. For the problematic videos the GPU Decoding is at 0% with a workload being spread across many of the CPU cores. For the non-problematic 4K video the GPU Decoding is around 60-70% and no workload is distributed across multiple CPU cores.

Hello, I'm really confused about the autofill feature. I've been using this feature for years and noticed that on some website the password field is filled in, but the username is not. I searched the support pages and forum topics, and it seems that is a very common issue. According to what I read, it could be either:

1. The webmaster decided to tell the browser not to fill in the username, but let the password to be filled in.
2. The webpage use some out of standard approach to name the username field, so Firefox is unable to recognize it.

What annoys me is that there's no way to understand if it's the first or the second case, so you just accept it.

It would be very helpful if Firefox could:

1. Provide a way to understand what the real problem is.
2. Add an option to override moronic security approach of the web designer, so the "do-not-fill-in-this-field" property is overridden.

I am an emeritus professor using the UVM email account X@uvm.edu<mailto:X@uvm.edu>, which I have used for many years. I use Mozilla Thunderbird (current version, “Eclipse”) as my email client and my account is configured for UVM’s Microsoft 365/Exchange Online service. After my most recent required yearly password change, although I can still receive email in Thunderbird, I can no longer send email. When I attempt to send a message, I consistently see this error: “Login to account ‘smtp.office365.com’ failed. Login to server smtp.office365.com with username tosler@uvm.edu<mailto:X@uvm.edu> failed.” Here are my current settings:

I have reinstalled Thunderbird, and I have removed all saved passwords and tokens for outlook.office365.com and smtp.office365.com, restarted the program, and completed the Microsoft/UVM sign‑in prompt again. IMAP continues to work and mail arrives normally, but SMTP authentication still fails with the error above. Because:

The configuration matches Microsoft 365/Exchange Online client‑submission settings, and

IMAP with OAuth2 works, while SMTP with OAuth2 fails,

it appears that this may be a server‑side policy or mailbox setting, rather than a client configuration problem. What are my options? Does the University of Vermont have to change some setting on their end on my behalf? Thanks. -turner

Hi! Since I've installed Thunderbird on my new computer with Windows 11, I've now twice experienced the disappearance from my inbox of a bunch of emails. Never had this before with Thunderbird. Could it be something needs doing in Settings (I couldn't find any relevant options)? The emails weren't among the newest, but they were all important.

Log in with usernames and passwords are not working properly. I had to change my emails for logging and other sites because my email was stolen. Now Firefox won't let me log in properly. And the clipboard on the Android is not synced properly with the computer for Firefox. So I had to start using Chrome.

I’m facing an issue in Firefox where some icons on my website are not updating their color correctly.

I’m using SVG icons, and the color changes work fine in other browsers, but in Firefox they seem to stay fixed.

I’ve tried clearing cache and checking CSS (fill/color), but no change so far.

Is this a known issue with how Firefox handles SVG or could I be missing something in the implementation?

after setting up a new install on another pc (ver148) and moving the profile folder over,

the only issue i have so far is the little yellow star in the folder for new mail having arrived in is not showing up. it will show the number of new msgs on the taskbar icon only.

can this be fixed?> can seem to see it in settings.

I love the browser and use it daily with Android phone and Linux laptop.

Concerning the new Android version, it is great. But please, bring back the select all tabs function. I like to save and backup my tabs by sharing them externally, and selecting them one by one is a very slow process.

Its simple but I dont get it and firefox used to be able to it is simply like any website you have a file of anything you can slip it in just like Chrome edge opera fire fox to get it the file you have to like go in like not automatc more like MANUALLY
